Think it came this morning, postie rung the bell (but I was wasted having gone down to Cheltenham to pass over car goodies for fitting before I pick it up and couldn't get outa bed in time - 340 miles round trip, which took over 7hrs in the traffic).

So chances are the neighbour's got it (I hope)

Thinking of dis-connecting the LED's & moving them to samll remote box, via an 8 core cable. Has anyone tried this????

Can anyone confirm that their knock sensor has a connection between one of the pins and the metal insert?

Both pins of the knock sensor are isolated, connect brown to pin 1 and black to pin 2. It actually doesn't make any difference but thats the way I connect them up.

Thanks Bob, I wanted to be sure as in the KL instructions it mentions that on two terminal sensors one should be connected to the sensor body....

I am looking to but a classic sti 4 and have just seen this thread. I would like to speak to the people you bought the knock link from to see if they are still willing to do a deal? Can you also tell me how much you paid for the whole unit?
