ok, read this first welsh road triangle

So, anybody up for a drive over there sometime around august/september? We could drive over in an hour or so, as it is only about 70 miles away. Or maybe go over on the saturday, and stay overnight at a b&b, then have a drive around on the sunday. I am sure we could find some more good roads over there too.
The picture opurtunities must be tremendous over there, so steelx and I will take our cameras!
I was going to upload the pictures I took on sunday, but my site seems to be down at the mo', so I will do it later,

Well this is my kinda area :-)

I intend to do a recce soon so i'll let u know. Scenery is great, lots of piccy opps.

I wouldn't recommend the weekend though, tons of tourist traffic, but you have to be pretty committed to take of a day or two from work for a scooby blast (which is what I do)

Anyway, whenever its on, i'm in and our North Wales posse will make an appearance too I'm sure

mrmward, do you mean the one from last sundays run out? if so, then yes, but it is not the best I have done, as I got stuck behind the bikers after the first section, and then couldnt catch up. I do have other footage, and am making a master tape at the mo.

I fancy the Wiggin tree meet. Then we can all sit and have a chat in the warmth. It was a tad chilly at the C and F last week and we'll only end up pushing everyones cars again! What do you reckon? Whos game?

Chris.... you can give me the number of that instructor on Wednesday too. I'm not going to go mad but I fancy a couple of lessons. I've learnt a lot from my father (who was a Police advanced driving instructor) but I also missed out on a lot because at the time it wasn't cool to listen to pops!

Haven't been over there before. Is it Warrington? If it is then a good route goes past Chelford roundabout. Can't remember exactly, just remember the nice smooth roads with some great corners and straight bits. I'll ask my mate!

Going to "sunny" humberside for a oouple of meetings worst luck. Even worse is the mods have now been done and i cant show them off!!

I think so, I was laughing most of the way up there that night. The bikers were the funniest, all trying to get past us. I didnt get much of your driving, as you shot off into the distance, and I got held up, plus your a lot faster that I was, hehe.

Pretty boring motorway route to jnc 27 m6, then follow signs for Parbold.
We could always take an earlier exit, and have a drive around, I know there are some good roads over there.

you just missed the run up to wiggen tree on wednesday, brilliant turn out, about 11 imprezas, and 10 evo's, + 2 skylines.
bit of a dull mway drive up there, but a really nice group of people.
I'm off on hols for 2 weeks, so, it is up to gav or steel to sort something now,

No one told us about a 50 limit HeHe. It is actually good fun sticking to 50 everywhere especially round the corners.

I had a peugot 307 hire car, in southern spain, on some gorgeous country roads, and no scooby to play with!

Hope you had a good one chris, We had a run out on Wednesday night we only went up to the c+f and then over long hill then had a chat at the bottom of long hill, the olb bill had to stop and ask us what we were doing.
