Best so far is Jap innovations for £139.89 for knoclink and sensor inc vat and delivery.

he should come down a bit more when he sees how big the group is!

Yeah i know darkblueturbo. Where you at Thurrocks mate??

Will contact Jap Innovations tomorrow as Impreziv Motorsport looks like they will be able to beat it!

Playing one supplier against another - but when they know how many of us are up for it, they will give us the best discount as they will still make a good profit

Right, had an email from BR Developments this morning.

They organised the last group buy on scoobynet and it was for £130 inc vat and delivery for the knocklink and sensor.

Lamdalink is £75 inc vat (if you order the knocklink and sensor their will be no extra postage costs - ie £205 all in).

Now do you guys want to go ahead with this? Seems like its going to be the best price we are going to get as BR Developments are the only legal and official distributor for Link (so any probs - you can go back to them as it has warranty).

If you want to go ahead with it (which i expect you will) then i need to contact them. They said people will need to ring up with their credit card numbers and when they receive their items, BR Developments will take their money out of their account.

You guys up for it then? If i get time, i will send you all an email

Just tell me when I need to phone them with my credit card number.

And what do I say to them...? For the Scoobynet group buy, gimmie gimmie gimmie...

How much for just the Knocklink (I already have the sensor)?

Just wondering if it's gonna be any cheaper than Jap-innovation's regular price.

Cheers.

Cheers darkblueturbo

Clicky

Paul, BR Developments got back to me with:

We do not sell Knocklink modules on their own, I am afraid. So, if your member of the group needs just the module (and has the correct Link sensor) we will supply the KnockLink at the standard retail cost of £85 inc VAT.

Unhappy

bugger how come BR say they don't sell them seperately, yet they can do so for the GB but you have to pay the full RRP

They can obviously get them individually, so how come they can't pass on any savings? I suspect they are taking the savings from the sensor since it retails at £60, but can be had for half that price elsewhere.

Sorry, but if that's the only option then I'll need to pass on the Groupbuy. I can get the knocklink on it's own from other suppliers cheaper than this so don't see any point. e.g. JW Racing sell the knocklink on it's own for £80.

Frank, if it's not too much hassle can you provide me with some suppliers names and the costs the quoted you for the monitor on it's own and what numbers where needed. If I can muster 5 people just for the knocklink, then maybe I can still get the discount elsewhere.

Looks like I'm in the same boat as Stefan then. Jap innovations looks like the cheapest option so far at £74 inc vat. If you get anything better Stefan let me know.

Thanks for taking the time and effort Money but I think I'll bow out for now. Don't really need the knocklink right now but if there was a saving to be had I'd have bought one. Will leave it for now.

Cheers.

Paul,

Whereabouts in sunny Scotland are you? If you're anywhere near Motherwell/Livingston, then we could save on the delivery costs.

Just an idea,

Stefan

Exclamation

That comment about warranty is cr@p!

Jap Innovations buy their Link products from MRT who are the main Link dealers in Australia, so the warranties would totally be honoured.

I'd be careful posting unsubstantiated comments like that. If untrue, such comments are effectively defamatory.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Cheers Rich,

i have edited this as i didnt want other people reading.

It looks like the group buy is going to go ahead with BR Developments but thanks for the info.

BR Developments have ordered a certain number of products so if anyone doesnt get any - could be an idea to go to Jap innovations.
