lost my dad 5 years ago, he died of a heart attack in work on a sunday morning
gutted, i was only 27 at the time, him 59

Its amazing actually how many people have been effected by the same/similar circumstances

I lost my Dad the same way 1 1/2 years ago.
I can say that things do get better.
If your mother is still with you she will need your support now.
Don't look back and feel bad about things you said or things you felt you should have said, He knows

If only everyone who read this thread would also put a £ in the Cancer Research charity box. Every little helps. It's the UK's #1 killer now. I've got a mate who is 26 and has it - slowly spreading. Come on people - a pound isn't much to ask for.

Deepest sympathies to you and your familly. I've been there - twice. You have tough times ahead. Try to make sure your memories of him are the good times you had together, and not the last few weeks.

It can't be nice to lose a parent one of my friendsv lost his Dad a couple of weeks ago and he hadn't spoken to him for years after a falling out
