Bah wish I could make it but unfortunately as I said on Sunday I'm not around.

On the plus side I ordered my PPP yesterday and it should be fitted in the next 2-4 weeks depending on how quickly the parts arrive at the dealer!

I went a little mad and also ordered the WRC metal mesh grill for the front, the quickshift and arranged for my sills to be colour coded at the same time. Dealer reckon 2 days to do the lot and has said a courtesy car wont be a problem. Wonder if it could be an STI 8?

Have a good time on Sunday and hopefully we can all meet up again soon after.

 

agree with you there rasher, my wife is the same! Just been out for a drive tonight, and she just can't get her head around it at all.
If she carries on moaning about having to get up early on sunday morning, I am going to leave her behind and just take the kids myself.
Pity you can't make it beefy, although I am sure there will be a few blue scoobys to look at!
Your going to miss the biggest meeting in the history of subaru by the look of it!

Hey, you'd be suprised at what a law abiding driver I am when the kids are in the car. 30 MPG

On another note......took a days holiday today and drove around North wales (slowly of course, tricky place NW) and came to the conclusion that I need a few days to satisfy my need to point and go....

Wife looked at me like I was a Demon from the Abyss when I *slipped* into the conversation that a 3 day driving holiday just for ME was on the cards......

But I thought sod it. Fill car up, money in pocket, pedal to the metal and just GO for a few days....

I've already contacted the divorce lawyer.....

Anyway, PPP eh? Should make drives outs a little more interesting.....

At last I can confirm that I am in for Sunday - with wife and 2 kids. Weather looks good for the weekend so looking forward to it.

Wife was somewhat relieved when I mentioned the theme park, sitting in a field of 500 cars (all the same model) was not her idea of a fun day out. Sometimes I just do not understand women!?!

 

I will put you down as a possible maybe TURBO TOE, and let me know at the last moment ok.

Its holiday season so I could not return some of your calls. I did try this week but got no answer, was it related to NBO or have you been on some more runs out?
I went for a quick blast to Alderly and back tonight, just half and hour but after a stessful day it was great fun. What a great car!

 

The calls were to invite you out for a run. Went out myself for a quick blast on wednesday night, got up to holme moss, and back, very nice.
Spent most of this afternoon polishing scooby for the NBO, as it is the only chance I have now till sunday,

Hu guys! Possibly will be at stockport on Sunday, will let you know for deff on saturday! Have to run it by the mrs!!! Chris you have contact details right!?!?

Also to make everyone aware, Police are aware of the event and I have been reliably informed (by a copper) that they will be out in force on the M6 and arround the event!!!

Of course its just so then can make sure there is no trouble not that they want to catch anyone SPEEDING or anything!!
