For Dents I would see "Dentmaster", its a mobile service that takes out the majority of dents in car bodywork...

For Chips I would use a stone chip repair kit which costs 9.99 from Halfords or if its a larger chip then you could use "Chips Away", another mobile service which takes out all your bodywork chips.

Not sure about contact details for these kind of services, maybe in yellow pages??

As far as light scratches go, I used to use Autoglym products but now after trying that Zymol wax I wont go back to Autoglym. The one thing I will say is that you have GOT to use the technique of spraying a mist of water over the newly waxed car to set the level of the wax and then buff the water off with a soft/dry cloth otherwise it will look patchy, the whole cleaning job on my car took 4 hours for the outside and another 45mins to do the inside so it takes a fair amount of time and by the end of it your arms will feel like they are about to fall off, but the finish is excellent and I recommend this wax to anyone... Very well priced too, I think its normally about 8 quid a bottle!!
I dont know Ryan, but I know people who do, not too sure if they are all going up to Crail though...

I will hopefully be meeting up with Johnny50 off here and going up with him, however it sounds like people are meeting in Dundee beforehand so not too sure yet.

What does everyone think about meeting up @ Tesco's carpark on Riverside Drive in Dundee and leaving in some sort of convoy??

Cheers,
Grant

yes sounds like a plan il try to get in touch with ryan and that and see if their going down he tends to hang about with boys in blairgowrie alot and im going through in 5 il see if i can find him or speak to his mates.

p.s if we do a convoy it will have to be at a sensible speed cos the old boys car is slow and does not go round corners very well.

do u want to put a topic up about meeting at tesco or do u want me to do it??

il ge back to u in about 90 min ok grant!!

cheers

Sorry to butt in boys but if you're meeting up in Dundee, the wee snack shack thingy out by the airport on Riverside is a good spot to meet at.
Plenty space for a couple of dozen cars and the backdrop makes for better pics than the Tesco carpark does
10:30 is the usual meet time but as mag days kick off earlier, it's probably a good idea to hook up at 9 if anyone's running the strip.

I'd usually be going but it'd mean going back on all i've said recently about Crail. Guess i'll just play it by ear.

Whatever is easiest for everyone else...

I agree that maybe the view of the Tay might be nicer than the recycling bins and trolleys!!

I know where the snack bar thing is ( i think)
Is it the one on the right hand side when heading into Dundee just past the Airport ??

Anyone got an idea on time ?

Cheers Ciaran.

Will keep my eye on it.
Any time suits me, earlier the better, as the roads will be quiet so i can get a good run up from Edinburgh.

Wink

FAO scoobylav

Yeah, I kinda do but i'd probably find myself spitting in the money collectors face through bitter resentment

...which would be followed by a burst of rage in the sign-on booth where i'd stab the minger that takes the cash, with the sign-on pen

...then i'd no doubt torch Wullies haybails with a *** end when i'm sitting for 2hours in the queue to run the strip

So from an anger management point of view, i really shouldn't go!

Never been to Crail before but I think I might go along on Sunday. Might even put my car up the strip a few times now that the Power FC has been properly mapped. I've heard the surface there isn't very good though? Is anyone going down from the Aberdeen area? I think myself and Keith will be coming from the Banchory area.

I believe that the BHP Developments car WILL be going down and leaving Aberdeen at about 7.30am.

Sadly I will not be there due to work commitments so I am letting my manic brother loose on the straight again!

Looking for a new engine as of Monday?

Pete..........

Just realised your in Dundee, so you drive a bright red classic with black alloys and tints??

If so then I saw you today down the Ferry Road outside Kevin Pirie while my car was being 'looked at'...

Cheers,
Grant
