I've been to watch a couple of hillclimbs at Loton Park recently, I've seen you (Etheridge-Bird) in your Impreza and it's great to see the odd Evo and Audi Quattro blasting up there.

I'm dying to have a go but don't want to risk kn*ckering my Impreza. The plan is to buy an old Peugeot 205 GTi for this sort of stuff, but not this year.

I'd recommend going to watch it to anyone, especially if it's the old fellas doing the commentary again, hilarious.

Hi Karl - it is great fun, but I have knackered the engine on the Impreza so have part exchanged it for an Evo 6 GSR.

I think I am going to get a 205 GTi 1.6 in the winter and build it just for hill climbing - or may be a Mark 2 Escort
