I just usually stock up on vodka....

boomer, you might as well put me down for this, because my reputation dictates that I will not turn up regardless.
At least this time I have a rather valid excuse.

I wont be able to do the 24th/25th. But I may be able to do the 31st.

But seeing as I live way out in the sticks now It can only be a longer journey. Any idea (roughly) where it will be? I reckon my 35mpg shouldn't dent the wallet too much though

And what days are they? Is it just Saturday night, then home on Sunday? Help me out here

Crush, it's an overnight stay at a campsite "somewhere in the lake district", the route will take us "somewhere in the lake district" and it'll consist of a good run on saturday, up tents, get merry, go to sleep(eventually), up at the crack of dawn for Mellows world famous bacon butties, then 2nd breakfast then leave for another good route "somewhere in the lake district", finishing off for lunch to watch the GP "not in the lake district"

Hope this helps

yeah, that helps

I'd me more likely to turn up & the site & go home straight after it, cause pushing my car to the limits to keep up is a lot of hard work for a Sunday morning

Put me down for it though

Just been informed by 'er in doors I might be able to play out that weekend. Also I might already be in Kendal so if I could be included on the e-mail (or whatever) giving details it would be appreciated.

Crush: I don't think the campsite, or most of the route, will be unfamiliar to you

Gotcha Does that mean my chances of getting lost again are slightly reduced?

I might be travelling down on my own So if I get lost, I might never be found again

Thumbs up

You can put me on the 'definates' pile

I'm a newbie to this camping thing, but have looked through boomers list of items required. I have a maglite and lifejacket - can anyone lend me the other stuff listed?
