ok back to rare cars now - Spose the RS500 is becoming one of the rare species too. Numbers are down to under 200.

Franx,

you could have seen a Delorean a lot nearer, we used to have one in the Grampian Transport Museum. They were innovative, plastic bodies with a stainless steel skin, but not that fast at roughly 8 secs to 60 from the Renault V6. Build quality nothing great either, that one had a metal rod wedged onto the door strut to keep it open. I drove one of the Back to the Future cars at the museum, even slower as it was auto.

How about a 911 speedster, had one of them in there as well, about 60 UK cars IIRC.

Mark Morris?

The Mr. Mark Morris - don't happen to know a certain Mr. Andy Turner perchance?
Didn't you go to one of the Blitzin events?
I think we may have been at Goodwood at the same a couple of years back - I had the ridiculously fast Calibra Turbo

Cue you sayin, nah thats someone else!

Predictable reply from me as I own one, but the 90's Mercedes 500E / E500. Only 80 or so in the country. I've seen one on the road in the last 4 years since I knew what they were !

Funnily enough there is and SZ that parks 'on street' with a residents permit that I can often see from my office window.

There is an Aston Martin Zagato Volante that lives in my village (1/25)

Maserati Bora

41 originally brought into UK less than half are still known to exist (One in my garage though )

Sunbeam Tiger Mk II Around 14 original UK cars of which approx 7 are known to exist - These are the 289 (same as a Cobra) engined cars rather than the more common 260 - (again one in my garage )

How about the ISO Grifo especially in 7 litre form?

Gordon Keeble

Trident

Jenson Interceptor FF

A thing about V8's....me? Surely not...

Robin

The Lancia Stratos - 492 built, about 20-30 in UK, many went to Japan in the early 1990's. We own one :-)

Lancia 037 - not many in UK. 200 road cars built and about 20 Evo versions

Lancia Delta S4 - only about 85 cars actually built.

Lancia Aurelia - quite a number in the UK. We own one and look after several. Currently working on a B24 Spider (one of 150 made) and a B20 Coupe.

Lancia Fulvia HF - several thousand made. About 6 in our workshops at the moment and one in private collection.

Rarest at the moment is a Lancia Flaminia Supersport. Only three were made in RHD, one came to the UK and is here, the others went to Australia.
