There IS a point to having a Clifford or similar, being that if you have Blackjax, the keys are useless to them.

Clifford have moved on from the 00's now, the one to go for is the G5 650(MkII) Comes complete with BlackJax which is a great piece of kit (as discussed in other threads)

I would have thought they are one of the most difficult cars to steal, despite being one of the most targeted? The new age ones at least are like fort knox and you would have to know what you are doing to rob it without keys.

It's always a worry for me but I like others try to park sensibly and take every precaution possible... but if someone wants something bad enough and know what they are doing they will get it I suppose... same can be said about anything.

mine was nicked back in july last year. Not a nice experience, but taught me a valuable lesson and not not trust anyone where my car is concerned.
Get as many alarms tracker and blackjax as possible and keep the car and home locked even when i am in.

I live in a high crime rate area and have had five Imprezas., my latest one being a MY03 STI, the only security I have is a Chain on the Steering wheel and a pole in the ground behind it at night and none of them have ever been touch. It had a tracker but I let it run out as I don't want it back if it gets nicked. Just won't be the same.

I had a scooby for 2 days once! Got it mapped and the same night it went!!!

Found it 3 days later with every window smashed in and the doors pulled round the wrong way!

What did i do??? Brought another one 2 days later while my insurance messed about!

If you worry about it ul never have what you want!

So just get on with it and enjoy life!!!

Don't live in a high crime area- in fact, quite the opposite- had my Scooby when I did live in a higher crime area without any problem- then moved last year. Maybe my luck had just ran out? A scooby owner for almost 10 years...
