Afraid it might be the last time with a Scoob though, as I may have to sell it (MY00+some mods) unless I get a job sorted. Could afford the insurance renewal due in middle of May, but it would be too big a chunk out of my remaining savings to be practical. Even in monthly installments it's hard to swallow.

Or swap for an old Impreza Sport or something. Will be placing an ad here + autotrader nearer the time if job situation doesn't look like improving soon.

Anyone know of a company after some computer software developers? C++, Unix (preferably) are my core skills (I gotta try...)

Shouldn't mention that I went last week thinking the meet was then and it was only the three of us

 

I need to be at work on Sunday starting at 2pm-ish (ideally 1pm) so no chance of getting to Newlands Corner and back to Kingston for that time!!

Next month the car should have moved on a bit more!!

You might see me in the area as I make the mad dash back to Kingston!!

 

Seems we won't get to see the new car then. Oh well. I'll be de-stressing after doing the photos for a friend's wedding tomorrow (very nearly today) Saturday.

Would like to thank everyone for a quality day out well worth the drive from Portsmouth. Especially liked the "rally experience" getting to the pub. The old lady in one of the small villages we passed through thought the set of fast and furious was being filmed in Surrey. Spectacular range of cars and mods and many thanks for the info on engine mods etc. Will be making the journey next month

It was good to me up again. It had been a while for (September I think).

Had to leave to take my little 'un for a walk.

Saw a yellow Evo VIII FQ 300 parked up at Esher Common. Reg 8 CCC. I 'm sure I've seen that in some car mags. First Sti8 and first Evo 8 seen in one day!
