just read your post properly andy, mine isnt green its blue 
the black escort was no probs for me either....
i think they should try to match the cars together, ie so an escort cos is against say a er......fast car LOL
as it would be more entertaining for the crowd....

john banks haha no offence but i would waste him in a quarter mile with mines and it aint got a 25g in it still standard clutch and turbo
barrys isnt the fastest i have more torque than him and his wasnt mapped the way it should that day and the cam timing was out u know barry done a quarter mile in 11.9 secs john will no way beat him just lucky that day, barrys clutch wasnt too happy and that time barrys car had over 370 torque when he done it in 11.9 and the day he took on john he had only 333 as u know and john had i think 370 odd

i had a lot of transmission probs last year, i broke 3 cv,s at crail the day you mentioned, all sorted now hopefully but if you want them to be reliable run a standard engine i suppose...

Well Moses, I now have another 40-50 BHP more than I had at Fife airport and plan another 30 BHP by the summer. Laugh or not I will still pass you 
There was nothing wrong with Barry's clutch. My car left his under power in each gear. It was repeated with the drivers swapping over. Would be interesting to run against a 400 BHP Escort, I would really like to get rid of the standard clutch, gearbox and engine first so I am running a reliable 450 BHP though... roll on May when hopefully it should be ready.
