Speed Rating for 200mph??
No, they won't explode, they will start wobbling before they do and it will take sometime before it happens but at those speeds sometimes, could be really soon... and deadly!
I've taken my winter T-rated tires up to 140mph for short periods (repeatedly)and just last week i found out that i needed 120 grams of balancing weights on LHS rear tire!!! So my tires are ruined for good even though they have 7mm tread depth left. Overspeeding the tires breaks (eventually) the nylon cords within and the tire frame distorts or so what my tireman told me.

Doing 126 on "mud plugga" off road landrover tyres that were rated for 55mph
was not a good plan then !!
I did manage to "throw" one of the tread blocks off the tyre but it all held together, just the tread came away from the casing.
bit of vibration through the steering after though
.

David,
To answer your original question...

I assume you've got no bonnet scoop, and "foldy in" STi mirrors too ?? Good luck on the run. Been thinking it would be nice to see what my R33 Skyline would do at the top end too, but it's only putting out 500 horses
Cheers
Dave
