I won't know the details until the day as they will only know what server we are using on the day ;-(

What I will do is call them again nearer the time to see if they can sort out an IP address so that I can give to ext. players...

Why don't you just get your **** down to the Playing Fields and have a real game...

Ok everything is booked and deposit has been paid.

We have only booked for 11 players right now and I just need to make sure that all of you that are bringing friends with you are still coming. In total there are 17 players

We need to let the PF's know by Friday 28th of the total numbers, so if there are anymore people that want to come or cannot make it, we need to know by 8.30pm tomorrow.

Some of us are planning to meet at the playing fields at 9.30pm for a drink before game time.

If anyone would like to join us please meet us outside the playing fields or call me on the mobile if we are not there and I will give you directions to the pub.. For those of you that went last time we are going to have a drink at that pub around the corner from the playing fields (the one we went to last time).

Please mail me for the mobile no.

Remember the games start at 11.00pm don't worry if you are late, the staff will let you in.

I have spoken to the staff at the PF to ensure that we get our own server and 100mb switch, so we shouldn't get any lag.

I am having a month from hell currently and am upto my eyeballs with work 24/7 at the mo.
Would have stongly considered it, but things are just too bonkers at the mo....... Thanks for thinking of me though .

You MUST bring them on CD..

Oh They will not let you bring your own drink in as they sell drinks at their bar... unfortunately RED BULL is not free .......

Just make sure you wear a big coat with loads of pockets full of drinks

Thanks for organising this event, although I feel too old to do it again!!!

I've managed 18 hours sleep in the last 26 hours!!!

It looks like with a bit more practise, I'll be a bit better than cack!!!

I hope you all had fun, sorry it took so long to get the server up and running but it looked like the staff at the playing fields were more interested in playing CS then helping us...

I have never played so much UT in one night before .. ggs

Andy you are never too old to play UT and we showed the young ones a thing or too plus after about 20 games those guys where ready for their beds .......... hehehe

It was a long night through and I am not sure if I could do an allnighter unless we could play some other games like networked TOC2 or some form of driving game would of been fun..

Cheers for organising that Mark, and just as well you were there as they seemed a little clueless on setting up on anything other than standard game.

Shame there attitude isn't better, they were more interested in sitting on there **** and watching that new star trek program than actually doing anything.

But still an enjoyable event.

I had 2.5 hours sleep in about 43.5 hours, must be some sort of record.....

funniest parts for me included Moe's cat calling when outside the pub
'pssssssssttttttttt i'm a human dump valve baby'

seeing steve lawson's reaction to someone who was 'after his **** and it wouldnt be the first time'

Look forward to doing it all again, preferably with somewhere a little better and with some other decent games!

all I can say is that is gave "motion sickness" a new meaning!!! When I got home and went to sleep I kept seeing things:-o that I was shooting crap and walking through tunnals..
