Black or silver?
Ive just agreed to buy a silver 01, and have sold a green 96. Green was crap to keep clean, Ive got a silver audi and thats easy to do, black omega at work always looks crappy, never looks shiny.
Silver for me from now on I reckon.
And I like the blue

Yes, it's a pain the **** to keep clean, but I've rarely seen a car that doesn't look good in black. As for not looking like it has a shine....

No - the colour is blue/black. Under direct sunlight, you can see a distinct blue tint to the paint - very nice IMHO 
Wax wise - who else but Wax Wizard and Zymol's auto bathe - which is very good.
