Loads better last night with the voice comms. Even on my 56k modem it worked fine.

Couldn't join one of your selected maps, survivor i think?. It said I was missing a sprite.

I'll try running the upgrade again.

When I did get on for Storm, I was the only CT, so joined Ts to sort out my voice comm, (I could hear but not transmit), with Road Runner and Crispy Goose. BUT DESPITE REPEATED PLEAS, the half wits who turned up playing CTS kept rushing to the spawn point and, though we were obviously trying to sort something out, and plainly talking (using the general transmit text) and not moving kept killing us. What the hell was that all about?? Not once but five or six times, maybe more.

FFS!

I had to go before I "virtually" punched somebody.

It was worse than being on a public server, thanks a bunch for all your help.

I think Crispy and RR could converse, but I couldn't hear RR and Crispy was v muffled. I wasn't transmitting at all I gather. I did hear Steve on DE_TORN, but left to try and sort it, Survivor was on when I came back and so I couldn't get on.

Don't reinstall the patch, I tried to see if I could get the missing sprite and it has buggered things up deluxe. That's what made me so angry when I was trying to fix things on a locked server with my "friends" and some of us just didn't get it.

If that's the level of co-operation we have, forget it.

Last night was a shambles - I have to agree with BK, Last night on Storm Goose and I were trying to help BK setup his mic only to face being killed every 2mins by CT's....v annoying. In future, if someone says that there trying too sort a problem out then please don't go around killing him if oyu see him standing there, instead try and help!

BK - I didn't hear you at all mate, from what goose was saying it looks like you need to config your mic in the utility.

Goose I didn't mean to offend you last night mate. As you were the first person for me to hear the voice comm I honestly thought that Value were being cheeky by using 'American' voice overs. It was only til you said you were an Aussie did I then realise my blunder

Anyway - with 1.3 I'm looking forward to the next sess.

I did all the config mumbo jumbo on installation and the mic worked fine. I don't think I was xmitting at all was I?

Anyone have the voice comm working from behind Zonealarm?

Edited to add that my wife found my descriptions of talking to "Crispy Goose" and "Road Runner" absolutely hysterical.

bazza - if u still getting mic problems there is a voice_tweak.exe file that you need to run.

m8 of mins said one of his clan had same trouble as you and this cured it.
