TIny, we got to get down there as early as possible so we can all park up. By the amusements will be best but if there isnt enough room, we should move it up the road. All the scoobs have to be in one place

Guys I dont wish to put a pi55er on things but there will be a huuuge police presence in Southend like there was last summer. They will be pulling people left, right and centre for checks and all sorts.

Therefore I have a cunning plan

We could do this as a "charity" run - everyone bring an easter egg and we'll donate them to the kiddies ward at a local hospital - therefore we're not seen as hooligans but as nice people

Any thoughts?

Richard, why would be turning up at southend with 40 sccobs though all cause we wanted to bring one easter egg???

The cops are going to pull you up if you start joining in with the nova boys. Just pull up, have a chat and dont act like a prat (that rhymes )

Richard, im not having a go but if you know what the cops are like down there, you will realise. If we all get stopped and say we all came from different places to bring one egg, the cops wont like it! They can be a right pain in the **** and will probably think your taking the ****. Then they will think your hiding something and then watch them pull over all the scoobs

The general idea is that dont act like an idiot, and they will ignore you. Cops down there dont really mind cruising to much, they just hate the boy racers as these guys want to race up and down and someone will get hit!

Cheers boys. Only does it when I put the accelerator right to the floor in 5th gear, seems as if it's trying to accelerate but something is stopping it (also the dvalve chirps when I feel the car jolt). Been advised that this could be the fuel pump by a guy down my road, and also someone said clutch again. Hopefully get it into garage early this week. Much nail biting here

 

has it done this today? am thinkin if it was overboost it wouldnt do it in the warm weather as last nite was rather chilly!

Yeh took it out to A13 this morn to test. Through 1st. 2nd 3rd its fine but when in 5th and foot on floor it jolts each time i put the accelerator right down. I can hear the waste gate go as well so it's like i've changed gear or lifted off the accelerator, even though I haven't! The engine sounds fine, no knocking noises or anything.

 

the other thing it could very possibly be would your maf sensor! the one by ya air filter! if you have some contact lense fluid i would take that off and give it a clean! and then maybe a ecu reset! cant remember the link but sure someone maybe able to help on here!

 

Yeh a guy in Drivetrain just mentioned that it could be a fuel cut by the ECU because my boost or something has gone over a preset level. Cheers for the advice on this steve, much appreciated by the way I just hope it's not a major illness
