P1Fanatic

Do you drink much Coke.
If you do I bet your boots its that, used to get em for years and one day some dude in the chemist asked me if I drank a lot of coke, when i was asking for something better than bongela (anbesol very good).

So I stopped drinking Coke, never had an ulcer since.

If you don't drink coke then I aint got a freakin clue.

Nah dont drink fizzy drinks that much at all tbh. Once a week if that. Mostly water, ribena or coffee.

I get quite a few mouth ulcers. I think that mainly they're stress related, and being run down will not help. So chill out and get some sleep!

I don't think they're sugar related - I do not keep sugar in the house and am very careful about what I eat from a sugar perspective. No fizzy drinks either other than the Stella binges which are a regular requirement to counteract for that though!

Bongela is OK for half an hour or so. Let's face it how strong can it be when I use it on my 5 month old's gums when he's teething.

I will certainly try the other products mentioned. Has anyone tried Frador? I use this quite a lot and it hurts like f$%k!!! Has to be applied with a q-tip and actually covers the ulcer with a skin to stop saliva getting in (ie promote healing).

Cheers

Talking

Eating something salty when you've got a mouth ulcer is a whole different kind of pain. Jameswrx was pretty close with the 'dribbling' thing. When the pain hits you it sort of dazes you. I've seen times when I've frozen with the food half-chewed in my mouth and just gazed at the wall hoping and waiting the pain will subside. Evil little ******* aren't they

the reason why I know a minge that smells is not bad is cause the doc says so it indicates a natural balance of good and bad stuff 'down there' and its supposed to have a smell sooo oral with a smelly one will not give ulcers

i know this cause the missus thougth she aint normal but the doc said all was fine and not to worry

thing is right I posted something about this and deoderants cause she was worried, it was me who had to go the chemist and ask the woman in the white coat about deoderants and she said got to the docs

the doc is examined her and said there was nothing wrong and to not wash as much down there as this was causing an inbalance of yeast that was making it smell, he said a smell was normal and not to worry unless there was a discharge and there aint so all ok
