I got them to note the wheel problem on the invoice so I got some proof they said they where gonna replace it. Took it out yesterday afternoon for a quick run round was a bit scared of its growl, bunny hopped it a couple of times When I forst set off in it I revved the nuts off the poor thing. Been out today into Derbyshire for a longer drive, got use to it now......it goes like S**T of a shovel. Got my first wave from a identical scoob....saw a couple of others but they didn't look....even got a flash off an Evo. Been blown off by a sooped up punto and a calibre came flying up my tail pipes and blew me into the wind aswell An audi TT got me aswell but he's worthy.....makes me grin like hell when the boy racers in there Nova's fly past....I just grin and think one day sucker I had a bit of a scare though on my way home, was about 3 miles from my house and a red cavalier came right up close with 4 guy's in and one was hanging out the window pointing to the back end of the car and trying to get me to stop, they followed me for a couple of miles pointing and waving but I thought noway and I carried on eventually they turned off to my relief....just gotta be careful. Went to Halfords aswell to look at CD players saw and alpine with disc changer thing for £279 fitted....is that a good price ? I telling a story here arn't I

Lou.

Midge,

Took me about 4 months to get used to my first scooby. Take your time finding the limits. The Scooby tends to understeer like **** if you enter a corner R/about too quickly, so watch out for that. Remember slow in and quick out. Eventually when you know the car well, you'll find that when the car understeers bad, you can use the throttle to correct the cars direction by lifting off slightly. Four whell power slides are great... Try and go along to a track day or air field day, and go out with a few people as a passenger. I think you'll be surprised. Usually on the SIDC events they have an instructor and he's a bloody good driver. He'll take you out in your car, and help you to find the limits, while keeping his cool

But enjoy the car, they're great.

Cheers Phill C

PS I wave at all sorts of car anyway....
