Mike I might have a cause for your poor brakes in winter?????????
I was in Palmers today getting my car serviced I asked them to check my brakes after I had problums stopping going to the last meet at the sportsmans,pads ok disks ok the service manager told me that they had been briefed about the salt being spread on the roads and that in certain circumstancies it was getting between the pads/disks liquifying then going solid after the brakes had cooled down putting a glaze over both surfaces it sounds quite plausible but then maybe with your extreme driving better braking measures might be needed. ie long chain and anchor throwen out of the window just a thought!!!

 

I will definitely be there cos i've got my baby back in one piece. Only got to survive Amsterdam this weekend first!!

anyone here have a standard impreza back box just kicking about doing nothing that i can loan/rent off them for about a week in a month or 2`s time? will explain fully to anyone who has one but would like to keep my reasons off this bbs until after 'the deed'. d, 1 x set of PIAA Super White Bulbs (2 onths old) these also dont fit the new car ;(

Well after talkin to DaveW in the shell station tonight i was well up for joining your meet on the 7th of April in my Civic Type R but as I left Dave (with my ears bleeding) I remembered I have to go to London that day in time start a course on the Monday with work :-(

GUTTED!!!!!!!! Nevermind im sure there will be more and Ill make sure Ill be there.

hi guys sorry i never made it, but my car was`nt up to the trip, the new brakes did`nt feel right, a bit soft?? going back to the garage tomorow
so i spent the night turning my scoob into the lowest, in all of cumbria

well i was waiting for some gossip from tonights meet, but there either wasn't much said ( which i doubt )or your all too tired to chat
