I will drink 1 pint with a meal max when I drive my car, or 1/2 and then cokes when out socialising (its not a scoob). I never drink when I ride my bike ever, Its got too much performance to risk dulling the senses in any way.
If the law said 0% alcohol when driving ,I would go along with it.
How many of the people posting here have had D/D convictions ?

Red face

Shocking images...........

Im not going to say thats horrable, disgusting, sick ect because some poor ****** has got to live with it.
If it shocks people from drinking and driving so be it.

All I can say is,if that ever happens to me I want to die!
And if I cant do it myself I hope a member of my family or friends will do it for me.Im sorry but thats how I feel.

Drink driving is inexcusable but each and everyone 1 of us is a hypocrite (apart from the few halo-heads).

I think you can differentiate between someone who is intoxicated and someone who has had a few drinks.

I (and everyone on here) have driven after a few so no point pointing the finger.

Zero tolerance to drinking would be better since there is no uncertainty then.

Chirac tells French to drive like the British
From Charles Bremner in Paris

IN GALLIC eyes, the British may be an eccentric tribe lacking style or panache. But, when it comes to driving, they are a model for the French.
The “civility” of the British motorist was held up as the ideal yesterday as President Chirac’s Government embarked on a campaign to force France to abandon a century of lethal driving habits.

“To summarise, we should drive more like les anglais,” a state official said.

more

About 8,000 people are killed every year on French roads, more than double the British and Swedish level and 50 per cent higher than the German rate. Alcohol is a factor in one-third of road deaths.

You're wrong.

I never drink if I am planning to drive; not one glass, not even a mouthful. On a (very) few occasions I have ended up driving when I hadn't planned to, and when I had earlier been drinking, but I've never done this without making very careful calculations of how much I've had to drink and how long I've had to metabolise it. Until I am certain I have left it long enough for all alcohol I have consumed to be out of my system, I will not drive. Not for any reason.

I very much doubt I am the only one on the forum that can say this.

Incidentally, I'm not pointing this out because I think it gives me a right to "point the finger", I'm saying it because your blanket assumption is incorrect and insulting.
