Right guys,
Do I get both tickets or just pick the one?
I take it you just pay for the car parks. Can you just pay as you park, or do you need to hgave a pass?
AS I said earlier I didn't make it to the stages last year so this is my first time (though my 2nd try!!)
Any spectator tips?
Cheers,
Iain.

Iain just buy the package and you can go where you please. We just had Somerly last year and wanted to get into the forests and think it cost us about £5 for every extra stage!?
Want to meet up? We'll be there Friday night.

I thought Somerley park was only stages 7&13? Is it worth getting this ticket?
I might be down there with Gary (Starship) so would be good to meet up, what stages are you planning on doing?

Email your mob numbers, we're travelling down Friday pm and will do our best to get up early Saturday! The gardens at the start are a great place to watch and video.

Not sure where I'm going to start yet, but will give the gardens a miss this year. If you haven't seen it before, its well worth it. Get on the bridge if you can, as you can see them come down through the gardens, and then out, all along the pier toards Boscome...

Hi Guys
Am thinking of travelling down on the day and will have the kids with me. Any advice on the best place to go to see some action - Somerley Park area looks good but can you get to see some of the best bits there? Don't really want to drive around all day like a headless chicken and end up seeing nothing cos I went to the wrong places! Or is it best to go to the winter gardens for start and finish? Any help or advice for my first time visit would be very welcome.
Thanks
Jo

Winter gardens is good to get warmed up with but get out into the forests too. We wanted to go to the military land stages but can't as the kids are under 16

Jo, we went for the first time last year and didn't have a clue where to go, but we still had a great time We started off in the gardens and then moved into the Forest stages and then finished in Somerley Park. Of all the places we visited, we found Somerley the most disappointing, but we may have turned up at a bad time. The Forest stages were the best, but be prepared to wrap up warm and walk for a good vantage point. We ended up chatting to the marshals who told us where the best places to stand were. This year, we're aiming to get to the gardens earlier and we're going to try and see more of the forest stages this year. Last year we saw all the cars through 4 stages I think and if you get the programme you can work out which ones to go to and plan ahead.
Hope that helps

Back on line at last, thankyou Jen for keeping us informed.
Saturday we are starting off on the sea front by the pier, then on to the forests stage 6 and 11 ,might go to 14 and 15 next or shoot off home to watch the rugby.
Tim hope to see you down there ,keep an eye out for us.
Jen i know you won't miss us .
See you all there.

Barry & Lyn - good to see you back on line
We're currently on the Lemsip and wads of tissues as the moment, so assuming I can get up tomorrow morning we might best be avioded! Still, I'll probably see you all down there...

Still no damn tickets! I think I live in a postal twilight zone
Question is, do I bother and end up spending another £25 or just write it off?
