Si, there's the usual 1st Tuesday meet for a chat and a couple of drinks out at the Old Mill Inn this coming Tuesday.
I should be able to make, but I'm oncall

Rob, if you could zip up and email me a couple of the photographs, I'd love to add them to my site, and possibly create a couple of desktop wallpapers for the downloads section. I'd just need copies of the full size images (1280*960 I believe you said). Full acknowledgement for ownership of the photographs would of course be given.
Cheers
Dave

Nice photos !
I guess you didn't want a black one messing up your nice line up of blue cars
As no-one gave me a call asking if I wanted to come along

CT - it was all arranged at very short notice at Friday lunchtime, and was supposed to be just one car. I phoned Numptie and Jools to see if there was any snow out there way - Jools found some () and also a farmer happy to let us use his land ( ).
At that point I thought there was just going to be me and Jools, but the Inverurie Jungle Drums had been beating, and we were soon joined by the other cars.
Had I known earlier on that it was going to be a mini gathering, or we had more time once we got there (it was almost 3pm with a fast setting sun), I would have phoned around and got more people along
Still - it doesn't stop us arranging a similar event this weekend - hopefully the snow and ice will still be around

RD,
I'm sure the mad P1 was OK as well, but how could we tell
Looking forward to mixing some blue with a splash of black. Maybe this Sunday? Meet up for a spot of lunch somewhere in the Country side.

Willie,
Did hear you were coming up this way. I just got home on the Monday night and can confirm that Rob, I and several of the gang were also too pisshed to do much, other than eat the massive dinner my dear wife cooked for 12 of us on new years day.
We were going at it as hard as we could right through the bells at my place (34 off us at one point I'm told....) but that is another set of pictures all together from RD

John,
I will talk to Kev about a powerslide pic, although copyright is an issue. Got stuck in my drive the other day, unlike when I had the scooby!
ChrisJ-How much? Does the garage owner know someone has smashed it???? Me thinks not! Still enjoying your Honda ?
All the best,
Steve.

Jools, my scoop was vandalised again back in the middle of November. After a bit of Halfords super glue it was back on the bonnet, but at high speed (ie dual carriageway speeds) it was lifting a bit. For a trip down to Edinburgh last week I thought it was prudent to remove it and now its too cold to put it back on!
Still trying to justify to myself an APS FMIC (and sport bonnet) from that nice Mr Tuckwood at Scoobymania.

Steve,
The Garage owner bought it off the guy who smashed it and got it fixed, its mint now, could be a good cheap buy. Give us a phone if you are interested. I am working on Saturday if you fancy popping in for a natter.

Willie F, Si, AJ & co,
Several of us that were together for the New Year spoke about going on a run this Sunday to have lunch somewhere in the country, similar to what we have done before. The emphasis being on a sociable winter gathering, rather than a "Mad Sunday" run in the Country
John S said he knew of someone else that was coming up to ABZ also, so I think I will start a separate post and see what we can get set up at short notice

Jools,
it was going to be more of a family gathering, with partners, kids etc. We were looking for a reasonable place for a pub lunch which served good food, was easy to find, close to Aberdeen, catered for kids, reasonably priced, also served vegetarian food, plenty of safe parking etc.
It would be great if there was still some snow around.
I had thought of either the Cove Bay Hotel (it's got a separate section which could deal with a big group), but it's not the easiest place to find, or the Roo's Leap place (used to be the Waterwheel Inn).
Somewhere like Beluga's or the Ferryhill Tavern might also be good ?
Suggestions ?

John,
Looks like we are singing the same tune to me
"Sociable Winter gathering, rather than a ‘Mad Sunday’ run in the Country" = "A family gathering, with partners, kids etc."
The Roo’s Leap sounds like a damn good choice to me!
