Mr F, yeah that was me. Always the way isn't it - I had a customer in the car at the time, so was somewhat light on the "loud" pedal.
I suspect the guy in the Cav turbo was a little surprised that I was as reticent as I was!

Hi Matt
Nice looking car, i did catch a glimpse of you while pulling out of Pro-tyre.
Couldn't be arsed with Mr Cav Turbo, thought it best to let him pass as he was insisting on sitting on the back bumper.

Hi Graham
Did you get the nice special offer letter from Simpsons too ?.
Very tempting, but not for me as have a year to go on mine.
Good luck
Nice to see PCB out doing the weekly shop at a well known Stroud supermarket at the weekend, nice to see you mate, never enough time to talk "Scooby"
We must all get together sometime.

The white racetek cossie was out again spec list that would put some rally cars to shame, he put his foot down a bit then backed off, all you could here were the pops & bangs from the antilag echoing past the royal well, very nice motor!

(have not got any space left on the licence for any more ahem "mistakes" )

Ok, on the way home tonight, i looked over to my left at the traffic lights by the Jaguar garage and there's a bloke in a Subaru jacket, in a Rover 400/600.
Any takers?

Hang around the Royal well Fuzz and you will get a name for yourself (used to be Boots Corner). My opinion of alot of the boy racers around town is 'not a high as it could be'. Got rid of my Kadett GSI (import) last year and offered it to the 'boys' to break first.
I was on my bike at the time outside Halfords, It went something like this:-
Me: Hi Lads, I've got a GTE going very cheap which would make a good donor car or something to cut around (it was on a D plate),Vgood Engine,Gearbox, seats, Digi Dash, Wheels, Brakes etc, etc. (fit you Novas)
Them: Oh their really slow HO HO HO
Me: I indicated 127 on quite a few occasions in it, but I've got the bike to go fast, I've yet to see a car touch it, Anyway you know anyone who may want it?.
Them: [silence]
Me: I'll be off then
Them: We couldn't get insurance for it anyway
Me: Tara (friendly bunch )
Don't know who was their pr guy to the echo, but I didn't meet him.

The stickers are only for scooby meets and stuff,
I think they'd look a bit "twatish" if I drove round with them on all the time.
stick on tat.... Noooooooooooooo

LOL no I was talking about theirs. Its there for a reason on the Scoobs, Not just for show, They look so out of proportion on their cars, it must knock 20mph off the top speed when they bolt them on(All smoke & no Poke)

Saw a blonde girlie in a STi with roof scoop today at lunch time, i was going towards Cleeve Hill. I was in my scoob then (Red Mica).
Saw a silver WRX (MY01+) late afternoon, but i was then driving a MY97 in green (my boss's Scoob).
Can really notice the age difference between mine and his!

Powerhouse ceased to be about 5 years ago, It was Fowlers after that, Then Skellerns and is now Cheltenham Bike. Mike Parry (Dave Parry Mototcycles in Manor Rd) is your man if you want to Dyno a Bike in Cheltenham. He is also a top Engine tuner who trained under David Vizard in the States
Edited to say Mike Parry is not a bolt on boy, He does the whole thing, Gas flowing, blueprinting etc etc. He has a well equipped workshop with a flow-bench. I have seen some of his work and he works on anything from 2-stroke bike engines through to big block Yank Iron. IMHO He has forgotten more than many of the 'tuners' in the Gloucestershire area have learnt.
