ace cafe is on the 5th, it will be a laugh....the place is made for car and bike meets....and guess what....from gyratory to ace cafe slip road, no speed cameras and same the other way, speed limit i think is 40 or 50 mph

BTW Ed, looks like somebody is trying to jump on your bandwagon and trying to arrange a west london meet at the ACE on the 5th Feband there was me thinking it was all arranged already! I wont mention any names just in case i embarass Bugeye though!! LOL

moe that was a blinding suggestio.......I live only a few miles from it too..........we used to go there on a friday nite from cheasea bridge, on the bikes.....it has a good location for everyone as the A40 serves east and west (ish), and the 406 does north and south...

Hello all good news and bad news..........wenesday 5th needs to be changed to TUESDAY 4TH as it will clash with the big american boys meet at the ace cafe.
GOOD NEWS is..I have spoken to the PR guru at the ace cafe (who also happens to be the owner) and there is a possibility of an ongoing venue (currently negotiating) for the first tuesday in every month......and following any success with this, could be the possibility of a closed car park for us scooby drivers. The car park holds 80+cars. and ouside can park many others, with no parking restrictions or resedents. Great, no hassle from public
or police, and unlike other pubs, our noise will be welcome.
The Ace cafe is a fully licenced cafe upto midinte and serves all soorts of food.there will be a dedicated thread for this so watch
this space

 

bugeye, my scoob is a silver uk my00. not much on the mod front apart from q/shift, 17" speedline gt1's, brake booster bracet and a set of sti steel pedals.....was thinking of gettin a wrx bug but seems i can insure an sti uk for less! and it already has a teacker fitted so one lees expense.....i may save a little longer, hence no mods

hi bug, the meet is at the ace cafe on tuesday 4th of feb...its open until midnite so anytime in the evening onwards will be ok.
I will aim to get there around 7:30 ish....

 

what about the bracknell meet on thursday interested ?

 

I cant make the 4th of Feb guys, Also It may be better to start of a bit smaller than trying to book the whole of the Ace cafe

Would it be better if we just met for a Beer in say Richmond or Kingston lot easier to organise and we can see how it progresses from there.

 

we're not having to book the whole of the ace cafe!.....if only 3 people come along then thats ok....it is as easy to go to the ace cafe as anywhere, if not easier. and anyone can come along. the ace cafe will (as it gets busier) close the car park so it is ours for the evening and we can do what we like (within reason)
and the first tuesday in every month will be dedicated to that.... i'll be there on the 4th hope to see some others

there is really good news, as a few already know, we've been given first tuesday in every month at the ace cafe london for our scooby meet. There's not much time to the first ever meet and will be nice to see those who do go......however, things are already being put together for the first tuesday in march. And there will be a few nice suprises to be had....which details of will be posted in a thread after our first meet has passed
