Bugeye...finally managed to find time to clean mine today...2 months of dartmoor mud / motorway grime / road salt. Took me nearly 5 hours with Swissol kit but the results are astounding! Looks better than brand new!

Yeah but i helped Peter buy the car cheaper, dad services his car, saved over £200 on his brakes and generally help him out on his scoob. Ive done a lot for Peter and will do for any mate with a Scoob. Peter knows i get discount with loads of companies for parts and he knows i will sort him out without charging anything for myself!

I cleaned mine today and had to battle the water freezing before I could Leather it Off lol.

 

ive been using a $2.50 jet wash......doesnt freeze over and gets road salt out from the arches too......and only takes 5 minutes

 

yeah i learned to be quick lol....!
not a bad idea getting a jet washer.....40 washes and it's paid for....need about 80 feet of hose to get to me front where the car is

Good to meet you all. Missed the bloody London turn onto the A3...thought it was the next right so had to do a U-ey and then couldnt catch you up

i tuned up at kew 11:50 and no scoobs in sight

so decided to go to newlands to catch up, got to the turn off on the A3 and see a sign for newlands corner....showed straight ahead and i was on the A247 but no newlands corner nor any scoobs in sight and drove up and down 3 times to double check i hadnt missed a turning and gave up at 2:20 and headed back.....i was gutted i missed it all.....i live not far from kew and when i left at 11:35, got to the car and some bird had christened me window and all over the wipers lol so had to clean it off. traffic was heavey goin over the bridge and figured you must have gone a bit early in anticipation that it would be like that all the way. well i went via Hampton and it was really heavy most of the way..........mind, when i was returning i used the M3 and managed to sqeeze 150 outa the car and as i was approacing the sunbury turn off, went flying past a police range rover that had just gone past the point of no return on the exit haha so nout 'e could do....so 'ad a bit o' fun chaps(and chapesses)
well it was a shame I never got to meet all of you, would be nice to have a mini scoob gathering so i can get to meet a few of you locals.... would be nice to be familiar with some of you for the next meet!

so soz i missed you all....there is always next time

oh, btw....i did see a classic scoob all stickered up pass me while i was on my way there....about1:15 ish...was that one of the surrey lot? (was in a silver classic)

Shame you missed out mate. Next meet will be better though as there were not all the regulars there but still quite a few newbies so hopefully next month, there will be the regulars and the newbies so should be over 30 cars quite easily

bug eye.....check page two! i did check the times, 12 was the leaving time.........not 11:40. got there 11:45, and was gutted no scoobs lol. traffic was messed up that day so knew you all left earlier..........i was a bit complacent cos i live around the back and didnt expect it to take ten minutes on a sunday mornin..two minuts ought to have been plenty really, but we learn. i'll know next time.if you had all left at noon youd have been there 1:30 earliest cos traffic was cr*p.

the thoutght had crossed my mind about a local pub with grub meet
I reckon the duke of york on the A4 in brentford (westbound between ealing road and windmill road) could be an idea. orthe harvester on boston road in hanwell is a good site for a meet.
woulnt be too far for edcase....I know krade is local to them both.
well what do you all reckon peeps........somewhere local for us in west london that isnt too much of a effort to get to.....that way anyone who feels like striking up a meet can do so without much of a fuss. and it can be flexible too rather than set times, and it wont clash with other regular meets.
