Cheers scoob-babe, I thought things were getting a bit heated for a while there! Sorry for any missunderstandings etc etc. All the RB5's ive seen are too high mileage and for unrealistic prices. Not really desperate to get back in the wing-backs as I want my next Scoob to be a real minta. Again thanks.

Thumbs up

Well it is personal choice and I actually think the effect of the green neons is very impressive!

I also like them by the way!

Still not going on my car Phil!

BTW rusty1977 how has someone modding their car damaged the residuals of your car?

Don't take the comments seriuosly, each to their own and all that.

Afterall, people were asked for their comments.

Do what you want to your own car. My P1 has leopard skin seat covers and tweaty pie mud-flaps!!

I have removed some posts from page one. I understand that the neons might not be to everyones taste, but that is what makes everyones cars individual. Let's not resort to pointless name calling please.

Rusty1977 - I only asked a question, was there any need for that level of hostility in your response?

Ian - Sadly some years are spoilt by the odd individual.

Peter - Yes there are green, still not going on my car... I think enough things are on it at the moment!

Impreza is the new XR3I, XR2, Astra GTE, R5 GTT.

RUSTY1977 said the Neons have damaged the value of his car.....
....probably have!!

Impreza's are now owned by baseball cap wearing, sovereign-ring wearing, pot-smoking bad-boys that wear Nike (tm) baseball caps and say "Naaaahhh innit man, dollars innniiiit Naaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Shame, cos they really are superb motors.

Not the cars fault. Just a large "Mijority" of owners.

I like them. Only a bit of fun.

Scoobys wont ever go down the max power way like the novas, astras etc. Unless we start driving about with half finish bodywork saying nearly finished or even rust on our scoobs!!

Cool

I like 'em and I don't find them offensive at all. I wouldn't put them on my car because i can't be bothered to have my car off the road while they are being done and i think that if you are sat in the car at night you don't really get the benefit of the effect. Same reason as my side skirts are not painted really, I can't see 'em!

As for it making scoobs drop into the max power realm, I dis agree, 18 year old Nova boys as a rule will not be able to afford a scoob and it's associated costs, THAT is what will always protect it's image. Same reason that BMW 328's never took off with the Max Power crew. Good cars, cheap to buy now but a ba5tard to insure.

I say Leave SJ alone, he's a cool dude and Neons don't hurt anyone
