FAO subusco
1 Is the butty van likely to be there and open(most important)?
2 where do we fill up shell or SUL (is crooklands the closest)?
3 where do the babylon hang out I.E. do they concentrate on any one spot because of the bikers?
4 will we need a recce or is the route idiot proof?
5 can we just set off or de we need to break down into 4/5 car groups?
6 where would be a good spot for a halfway halt bearing in mind somewhere to park up?
7 what is the approx milage?
sorry for all the ?? hope someone can answer some of the ??

REPLY::
1, IF IT IS WEEKEND BUTTY VAN WILL BE OPEN ,
2, IF COMING FROM NORTH , CROOKLANDS FOR OPTIMAX, FROM SOUTH HARDEN BRIDGE OR INGLETON ,
3, MILAGE FROM KIRBY TO SEDBEGH ONLY 20 MINS AT 60MPH ,
4, NO PARTICULAR PARTS OF THE ROAD FOR UNWANTED PHOTO OPERTUNITYS,
POSSIBLE MOBILE UNITS BUT ONLY IF ITS SUNNY AND FULL OF BIKES.
5, THERE ARE A COUPLE OF ROUTES STARTING AND FINISHING AT DEVILS BRIDGE ONE WOULD TAKE 2HRS ROUND TRIP INC LUNCH , THE OTHER 3HRS INC AN HR FOR LUNCH ALL ON AWSOME SCOOBY STAGE TYPE ROADS.

1st the good news i've done the recce on saturday(my mum wanted to go to the wool mill @ Ingleton for her xmas prezzie). It works out @ about 80 miles, some twisties, some glorious straights. My thoughts are to give everybody a copy of the route on the day, and slow down @ every country pub to allow people to stop @ have lunch whenever they feel like a rest, whole run takes around 2-3 hours dependant on what each driver/passengers feel comfortable with. REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A RACE just a few like minded owners having a run out in there own cars in the company of other likeminded owners(does that make sense)

it was found around 1600hrs on caton road by the southbound junction for M6
unfortunatly the thieving scum RANT MODE ON if i ever find out who did this i will ************** and ************ with a blunt knife and ****** and *********** and ********* RANT MIDE OFF see i've been thinking of lots things to do with the scum!!!
Oh nearly forgot there is'nt a straight panel left on the car suspect it's a write off. so i need a lift for the dales run people? anyone? i'de prefer front seat as i'm a lousy passenger
