Standard for a 95 RA is actually 260 BHp, similar to the MY95 WRX. The WRX STI RA had 275 BHp for the same year but weighs about 100 kg or 2 more. Can't remember to be honest.

Lightbulb

As far as we have been able, at API Engines, to tell from the numbers of closed decks that we get from Japan, 10 more arrived today, in 99 out of 100 cases it is possible to tell from one small area whether a block is or isn't closed.

Look around a block for an area of cross hatching casting marks similar to the squares on a sheet of maths paper, the starter area is usually good. Once you have found some you know what you're looking for. IF the engine has these cross hatches on the mounting [the block part ] for the oil cooler/oil filter housing - most probably it is closed. Everywhere else isn't conclusive but the oil filter area seems to be almost a certainty.

Of course to be absolutely certain see previous messages.

Hope that assists guys
