From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
I think i saw your one on your right arm David when we were working on the car, did not think much of it TBH.
TomM - You drive an M3!
Going to treat you differently now!
Just because you have a design added to yourself how does that make you a different person... Tatts are so common these day some people must really struggle through the day!
I remember commenting about a tattoo on TV and friend reminded me she had one... I was actually commenting I didn't like the design the person on TV had (very crude (as in thick basic lines) barbed wire design around the upper arm).
Tattoo or not it surely is the person that counts?
If they feel like colouring in their skin then fine.

Unfortunately you only have to read some of the comments that fly around this board to realise a lot of people would never get to know an individuals personality as they always go on first impressions.

I have various tattoos 8 of them Japanesse styles
Samari warriors dragons wizards on my arms, back
I do get the odd look from people mostly at work if i wear a T-shirt in the summer lol
If i have a shirt and tie on you cant see anything unless my sleeve moves higher up past my wrist watch
A few years ago I was refused to be served in a pub
As I had a short sleeve shirt on and with a collar
But they didnt like it thought I was a looking for trouble lmao
When back the following day with a Suit on
It was like 'yes sir what would you like'
I just said oh your serve me now then and i got a very odd look
And then she remembered me and went very red faced
Some people even in this day and age have the old stigma
people with tattoos are only out to cause trouble
WRONG

Bajie - First impressions count for a lot and I am as guilty a others for making quick judgement about people.
Just not sure why tattoos (well some... obviously the "cut here" variety are different) are such a big deal these days.

From: Casualty or Holby City, Take your pick, it's not like that in real life!!
I have 4 tattoos. One round my belly button, a large one at the top of my back, a medium design at the bottom of my back and one just below my knicker line. I have my belly button pierced as well. I like tattoos and it's my personal choice whether to show them or not. I don't regret them at all and I won't. My boyfriend has his arms and legs tattoo'd and his fingers on his left hand (granted, I don't like that!) If people want to make assumptions about my intellegence or my upbringing then they are obviously very narrow minded. I had a good upbringing, we weren't poor and didn't live like scum. I have morals and high standards and am open minded about things. Obviously it's not everyones taste but to assume that all people with tattoos are thick is stupid. Also the assumptions that women with tattoos are an easy lay is unjustified (that may have not been said on here but it's my experience of blokes when I go out). Just remember, each to their own. No-one is forcing you to either look at or indeed have a tattoo so I don't see the point in you slagging off the people who CHOOSE to have them. Get a life!
MATTel - Did I say M3, I meant Justy!!
Honestly, some people just are not subjected to the real world so much that they are like this!, I used to see them all the time - the big wigs and CEOs of companies, most of them public school boy feckwits!
Sahme but its true, these people pass judgement before you even open your mouth - with me they arnt wrong but ah well!

The whole point is times have changed drastically from the times when yakuzah, convicts and pirates wore such body adornments.
Just look at how many tattoo shops there are springing up.
So much so that the government wants to regulate them
Whats the point of tattoos/piercings. I guesss its the same as why buy a scoob instead of a justy. Personal choice/peer pressure. Who knows.
But for those of you with a low opinion of the people who get them at least it gets the scumbag off the streets for a couple of hours while he/she gets their body ruined

My ex had tattoos and piercings everywhere, including 2 genital piercings - a ring and a 6cm bar(sideways). When I asked him why he got those ones done, he couldn't give me a reason. He took them out shortly after we started seeing each other (for obvious reasons), and as they were quite thick, they left huge great holes. Poor bloke p1ssed like a watering can.

TomM - Justy that is okay then!

lmao - POC!
There are some tattoos that aren't nice, like the "cut here" style. The more modern tattoos that are very fine work are quite impressive. A friend of mine showed the lion head he had on his thigh... the about of detail was staggering.
Okay genital piercings =
Sorry but I don't understand why anyone would want to do that.
Other piercings fine... but that OWWWW!
Of course I might have a friend with one and I would never know!

There's one chap that's had screws drilled into his skull - the thread part sticks through his scalp and he can screw in his choice of ending - be it spike, ball, screw - whatever...
There's also the trend of putting ball bearings down the end of male genitaelia to give it that "bumpy" feel - also inserting them under your skin elsewhere.
IMHO I don't like tattoos and don't have one myself. I *do* have piercings, but only in my ears. Am tempted to get my tongue pierced though....

Is it so you can tell your mates you have a tatoo/piercing in case you run out of conversation?

I thought piercing went out of fashion? very old hat now!!
First Impressions count is all I am saying - people with 'On-View' Tattoos are making a statement, how that statement is read depends upon the reader.
I have my opinions, you will learn as you get older - my grandad, at 75 was STILL devastated that he had his Tattoos done in the Navy!! He was saddened for over 50 years!!!

Perrsonally I do think some tatoos look very smart, but I wouldn't have one myself as I just know I'd regret it. Oh, and I really don't like pain

Nick.

rather rapid end to such a nice night aswell
