pffft, hasnt he sorted the ECU programming yet then?
I thought ECU re-programming was his forte?
Anyway it only has to be undetectable if I write it off and they pull it to bits, but thats fraudulent so I wouldn't suggest that anyway....

Paul, its my thread
Besides, you coudl interpret Davids comment above 2 ways.
He either knows someone who could do an ECU adjustment (he does)
or
He either knows someone who could write your car off (he does, me)
I took it you were both having a subtle dig at me and my previous Scoob

having a dig?? Never even thought about that, I totally forgot!
Now you remind me I can see how you could, if you were extrememly paranoid , take it that way.

David - SHHH!

Im not scared about people seeing the reg, people on the road see it every day and anyway Im changing it soon

Gasket where tubro joins downpipe just went this morning. So i have just spent 3 hours changing the bloody thing, as one of the nuts (bottom turbo) was siezed on the stud, so the stud had to come out, slowly.
Anyway, just finished so should be ok. Done a few other things, nothing major, whilst i was tinkering, so hopefully ready for tomorrow
My mate has just dropped is spare motorbike helmet off for me, so i think i am all set

morning or afternoon Steven?
If it was morning, then definately not Ferne, as we were in Sc*nthorpe doing a bit of shopping, didnt get back until about 1 pm - and she was at the opticians at 4 pm in the town, so it would have to have been mid PM.
Anyway, you'll DEFINATELY see us tomorrow, about 11 ish

Can someone please confirm time and how to get to buckles again, I remember someone posting a link but there a few pages now to look through. Tried to come a while back but other commitments got under foot. Be nice to meet some people who know what they're talking about as I have a very minimal clue and am always keen for help.
Cheers
Marc

Usually 7 to 7:30 and it is here
Steven
Buckles Inn, A64 near York. if you are going towards Leeds from York on the A64, then its on your right about 1 mile before macdonalds/little chef/q8 garage at bilborough. you have to go to the macdonalds at bilborough and turn right accross the a64 (as if you are going into bilborough) and follow the road round to the right, you then aproach the pub from the rear or if coming from leeds keep on a64 and drive past agraar restaurant on right, then macdonalds etc on right, and after approx 1 mile its on your left. Go steady, you could miss it, due to tree coverag

Cheers for the responses lads, look forward to meeting everyone on Monday in my fairly standard wagon, I used to think I'd done quite a bit 'til I saw the spec's on Steven's wagon and the potential rocket David is building.
