Never been there in car but I was there for the Manx GP this year on my bike. One of my mates was racing in the Newcomers so we went across to help out/have a blast. Great roads, especially around Glen Helen, Sulby and the mountain. It seemed totally unnatural blasting past a police car at 150+ mph perfectly legally
Saw quite a few Scoobs whilst I was over there too but I was in "bike mode" at the time There was a nice silver classic driving round Douglas and Milky Quayle has an awesome STi 7.

Gonna try my best to make it this month. Anyone willing to offer some directions to a first timer? I'm coming from Wakefield, so it'll be A1, A64.... then what?
Anyone else going from Wakey / Cas / Ponty etc?

Well I am hoping to be there...will be in the other boxer engined car tho!
Buckles is on the A64, on the left as you travel towards York. Pass Tadcaster, pass the services on the left and then after you pass the major services on the right...Buckles is shortly after on the left, directly on the Dual Carriageway - don't miss it! I think it is about half a mile after the services.
See y'all!

Well, a poor turnout by any standards. Still, of those who could be bothered a pleasant evening was had.
Andy, I was hoping to hear that DV when you set off but you seemed to be doing a lap of the carpark. You must have been very close to the speed limit when you passed me, that's very Scoobynettly Incorrect. No-one on here speeds you know The wheels look in silver, 2 inches cooler than mine!
CU all in Feb, CB.

Should be up for next month - logistics were getting too hard with moving the 4 month old around and getting meal times sorted... Plus, as Rum the perennial tart pointed out, the evenings will be getting lighter

Did a lap of the carpark because the windows were steamed up
(well thats my excuse) truth is I can't see past the end of my nose lol.
Like you say mate a little quite but still a good night.
As for the speed limit I think I past you a little over seventy. Thats what I'm sticking to if anyone asks.
See u in Feb.
Cheers

Only a week to go guys & gals. I'll be there (looking forward to the large fish, mmm) and I'm sure we can count on ProdriveAndy and Steve & Sophie.
Come on, lets get 2004 rolling now.
Stickystuff - I can meet you at J41 of the M1 if you want to follow me in.

Interest seems to have been waining in recent months. Oh well. To anyone who's still into meets can I recommend the Fenay Bridge in Huddersfield. Friendly enthusiastic bunch (18 last week) and good food. Last thursday every month (25th this month) from 7.30pm. Details and directions posted on here and our own website . We've also got a track day coming up the weekend after next, two places left here .
Maybe a few more will drift back in the spring?
