Imagine the scene.

<tap on door>
<muffled voice mutters> "Scoobynet password please"
<silence>
"What did you say?"
<cough - bit louder this time> "Last chance - Scoobynet password please"
"Oh right it's (for the stories sake let's say.....) Sideways "
<door creakes open and a pair of tickets appear> "Here you go - guard them, I will see you in the lobby at 19:00 hours precisely, don't be late"
<Tickets are taken and stashed under a jacket> "Okay, see you there"
<suddenly from nowhere LMW jumps out and hi-jacks the tickets, running off cackling>

Either that or just get there before Steven and guess the password..

bound to be something obvious like 'PP4rG1' which is similar to mine and really easy to remember...

Do not try this, or my Karate skills will be called into action

Did i ever mention national champion, european champion, and fought for GB in Japan and got to the semis finals

Oh and Emma will guard them.

Password...now that could have been tricky, given that i nearly screwed up my user account this morning

P20SPD, I'll spar with you for the tickets then. Full contact okay? If I win, I get the tickets, If I lose, I get the ticket. Fair?

If you cant find any acoomodation at all then i may be able to squeeze you in. It will mean me kipping in a sleeping bag and you could use a double bed but that wont be a big deal if it means your able to take the prize you won.

You will have to share a big 4 bedroom luxury farmhouse with some of my mates, but they are an OK bunch really.

drop me a mail now and i'll give you my mobile number so you can contact me tomorrow if need be.

well done john!

This is the kind of thing ScoobyNet is all about IMHO.

I've been on the phone to almost every team, the rally organisers and all the local hotels, and nobody has anything.

You WOULD be able to get something a bit further out though.

All the best

Right, finally managed to find somewhere. But near Bristol

Need to speak with Emma 1st, when she comes home, but may take you up on your offer John as it seems a bit of a trek from there.

Steven

PS To all

Sick of hearing "sorry sir, you do know its the Rally this weekend?"

YES I DO!

You will also be shown round the ISC-T Mission Control Vehicle at service park. This is the technology truck that controls all of the new technology introduced this year (seen those silver pods on the roof of the cars?).

Dont bother bringing the caravan as there is no room, we will accomodate you no problem!

To think that almost this time yesterday i did not even know!

Was not bothered about paying tohe £25 to be a PlusMember, but this makes it absolutely worth while. I think you could say its covered my subscription for a few years

Many thanks once again to John, look forward to seing you tomorrow.

Steven

PS Many thanks to Simon as well, cracking organisation

Well, i am absolultely knackered!!!

Had an excellent time, shame about stages being cancelled though.

Can i say thank you to Simon for organising it, from both Emma and myself. Sorry we could not attend the after Rally bash, but work commitments today.

A big thankyou to John Felstead for allowing Emma and I to stay, and also giving rally novices' a guided tour. Very much appreciated, without your help and company i dont think the weekend would have been quite the same.

Pavlo, sorry about the mixup on Saturday night!

978 miles on 174.92 litres of optimax

25.41 miles to the gallon, not bad considering, some of the spirited runs, and the drive home.

Will do, going to post a thread about it etc, with pics. Due to getting home at nearly 10 o clock, and seemingley spending all the weekend either driving or stood about, i went straight to bed, after a beer of course.

We met lots of nice people, drivers at subaru were too busy speakng to their engineers. Hospitality was 2nd to none.

ISC timing/gps etc was superb.

Will give more detail later, after i have spent tonight trying to capture pictures from the camcorder.

It was a pleasure Steven, really enjoyed the company of Emma and yourself.

One of my pals got a late call to work for Ford on the rally, so i had a bed, top result.
