Nope...just a lil ol 2 litre

Here's the dyno sheets prior to having a major rebuild in January this year

Iv'e split it in half so as to be able to make out the figs better...

This has to be the quickest car I have ever driven, sideways in 5th

I'm not jealous..............

Course - the engine has to make it to Batley, never know if there'll be any erm Diversion signs back to Lancashire ......

450bhp... not bad, the lag on that turbo must be something - you'll be able to make a coffee whilst you wait for the boost to build up

Wink

Not meaning to be mistrusting here but your boost figures show .95 (13.7psi) bar at 450 bhp however, you then mention it was running 28 psi with a future target of 34 psi Guess that works out about 750bhp then

Ah yes....but was it dynoed on the bench, road or rollers

Lets say this..... I can achieve way over the shown 452.5 bhp figure..... However....it would be both unsafe, undriveable and as happened last week at Well Lane the true figs cannot be gained under that manufactured situation....I was hitting 450 bhp and then losing power/boost due to the false cool air intake being picked up by the cars management system (if that makes sense) we also had 3 in the boot and the thing was still slipping

Given some of the printout info, I'd guess that they are bench dyno figures.

The boost figure has to be wrong, because regardless of it being a 2.0lt, or a 2.4lt you won't get 450bhp from .95bar

The previously mentioned 28psi (1.95bar) would do it though.

Based on the current info, I'd estimate circa 500bhp @ 34psi.

Mellow, noticed that you'd T'd your fuel reg', into the same line as the dump valve........Maybe I'm wrong, but that would SCARE THE SH*T out of me.......

Mark.

I have to say Mellow that figure is wholly suspect! Maybe not the power, maybe not the boost, but not both.

Something tells me that the dyno or the the pressure sensor needs re-calibrating!

Unhappy

its in batley, near Leeds.

Its taken me a week and a half to realise that the 26th January is when my youngest son is being christened, so i guess i am not coming!

Sorry.

Unless you can flip the days around, so we are all on day 2

Only joking about swapping days, i will skip this one then.
