Ok casanova advice needed ;-)
Andy....i'm sure someone's gonna come on here soon and say pick up the f*cking phone........ring her.......and just ask her how she feels........JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!.
I wouldn't say that btw
....
Just call her mate. Text is IMHO a dangerous form of communication, and the root of all arguements between me and the girlfriend, who is slave to a mobile phone and a complete text-aholic. I hate the bloody things.
Whats wrong with plain old fashioned talking? You dial the number. You speak to the person on the other end. You talk. You get a reaction. Simple. No hanging about, no confusion, no wondering whether she has recieved the text, or is ignoring it, or has her phone switched off.
At least you will know either way.

LMAO @ ADP!!
Oh dear - been there before! (Mine was using email, but only three hours!
But she is the one that I married
)
I reckon she's been one of these "rule books" - the "don't call/contact for three days" classic
These rules/books are the biggest pain in the @rse!
So, when are you going out again????
You have to keep us in the loop now, you know. It's only fair!!

From: Casualty or Holby City, Take your pick, it's not like that in real life!!
She obviously likes you!! She was waiting for you to make the first move and when you didn't, she didn't want to miss out!! Ask her out again and see how it goes! BTW, me and my fella got together by texting each other constantly. He started by sending me rude messages annonymously (didn't know he owned a mobile) I was intruiged to know who it was to say the least!! It went from there. I swear by mobile phones! Although texts do tend to cause alot of misunderstandings between us now. Maybe thats just an excuse to get arsey with each other!! Hope it all goes well for you!
just picked up this thread- glad you got the reply you wanted mate. i sympathise as i feel rather lonely at the moment due to the lack of a good woman. last thing you need is games when you are feeling sketchy about the situation.
good luck mate
weava
gotta add that i think for anything other than flirting, text is bad, as it can be misunderstood too easily - phone is the way

Its funny, I ve spoken to lots of people on this and most of my "girlfriends" are all highly interested for gossip purposes ofcourse
. Thing is, everyone has their own ideas on "dating etiquette". Someone in my office seems to have this set of rules that he thinks are practically the law, ie you call her 3 days later and no sooner etc etc or youve blown it. My mates Mrs said my first mistake was to text her so soon after a date, **** I should have been more patient, or should I? er no, these are her rules arent they!
think Im gonna follow my nose basically........ at the end of the day I reckon If I call her up and ask her back out she will give me the same answer if I do it tomorrow(which I may, gulp) or if I do it in 2 weeks time.......basically shes already made her mind up about this.......well I reckon.......laydeez???? any views???

Ignore all the stupid rules! What rules?! Who decides these rules?!

It's all silly, just take each situation as it comes and talk to each other
After all, what's the point in hanging around if you like each other? You might get hit by a bus tomorrow....(cheery thought eh?
)

See if she gets back to you in 3 days...
So you phoned her at 11pm on thursday night? hate to say it but unless you knew she wasn't asleep I personally would have waited for a more convenient time.
Anyway good luck and stop being paranoid / insecure, they can spot that a mile off
