Add me to the list provided it is one of the last 2 weekends in November. i am working the first 2 and really want to make my first meet/run, even if it does mean 120 miles to the start!!
Let me know when something gets organised.
Cheers

Hey John, how's the planning going? Any ideas on a date and route yet?
I have been sounding out the Scots as I thought it might be nice to meet up with them too - what do you think?

Hi Lordy
The wife and 4 year old girl went to Alston Today (thomas the tank engine) there must be some nice roads up there because she kept on shouting "Lakelend Twisties,Lakelend Twisties" most of the time !! (the four year old that is, not the wife).
I'd guess Alston is a little out of the way for a "border raid"
Midlife...
Ps Thanks for the advicere Brampton Road

was that pheasants or peasants?
on a more serious note I was thinking of getting a road angel, geodesy etc...is there any value in getting one of these on your route just to check for "accident black spots"
If anybody could give me the best "accident blackspot detector" I would be more than happy to buy the thing and run along the route.
