Question

Can any of you brainy types on here tell me why i can`t see most of the pics that get posted on here? i`ve tried turning my firewall off in case it was that but it made no difference. Can`t even see the pics of the Dales run in the gallery, just get them little boxes with the red cross in them

Cheers

Ab

Been out today to take some pics of the car while it was clean, may even get me in the 'car of the month' on ourweb site, which by the way Rusty, it's looking GREAT

Sorry to post so late but just back from the tyne tees scoob meet and i have come back with some great ideas !!!!!!!!!!!#

a possible venue for the NORTHERN BIG ONE *******

a potential slobberknocker

100 scoobs to meet in june (SUNDAY) at what could be the GREATEST GATHERING OF ALL SCOOBS ********************

enough of this idle rambling from a madman

turf inn meet in carpark for 8PM

Rusty come off at junction 43 head for town past Carlisle united ground and fork right heading for A595 workington keswick turn off at traffic lights come to a 2nd set of traffic lights and turn right you come to a large roundabout and go to the right exit you will see wicks diy shop county garage (FORD) and sands sports centre it is the big pub behind it.
look forward to seeing you there if the snow keeps away!

Lordy

Many apologies for missing tonight at the turf…I got caught up with work things.

I wanted to go to the Turf to find out about what was happening..100 Scoobs !! I even stopped off at the garage at Houghton after work to jetwash the car to get rid of all the salt. Tarts do that sort of thing… They had hung a notice on the jetwash reminding customers about the ice !!

It was about 5.15 pm and had to laugh out loud as our resident loudest silver (with black accessories) scoob went past…..you know who you are.

Any news from tonight

Midlife….

Due to bad weather we only had a turnout of 4 (including the right honourable Rusty from Lancaster ) we had to abandon the Turf due to lack of seats and noise so moved up to the Gosling Bridge but we will find a new venue for next month.

Rusty urgently needs new material for the website so if we can all help him out with ideas pictures ANYTHING to keep the site fresh it would help

THE VISION OF 100 SCOOBS+++ is gathering pace fast !!!!!
and i will be confirming venue and a choice of dates next week once the venue organisers have confirmed they will take hundreds and hundreds of scoobs , i might invite EVOS & SKYLINES as well i feel this is the year of the scoob .many great ideas came out last night and also at the tyne tyees meet i attended on tuesday night.
time allowing i hope to have some flyers produced to cover strangers cars to promote the group and also a newspaper artical to let the masses know that we exist in the scooby world .
its going to be a busy time ahead for Cumbrian scoobs !!!!!!!!!

Ied like to suggest another location for the monthly wednesday meets. The Sportsman, its located on the A66 between Penrith and Keswick. About 6 miles out from Penrith. It has a big car park and very good beer being a Jennings pub. Its a quiet pub to no problems with the kiddies. And there is a pool table for anyone that needs a beating with my stick.

I thought this location would be more central for the lads coming from out west.

What do you think ?

Firefighter and all

Sportsman sounds good, I gather it has a big car park and is easy to find.

Just along the road is "The Mill" at Mungrisedale which I have been told also has a big car park and is V quiet.

Anywhere round there will be OK with me.

Midlife....

PS abbeylad
I've got the £20 version of your scooby model, your's has got lots better control !! I Should have shelled out the extra. we could race them at the next meet......

I brought my RC Scoob with me on Wednesday but as no-one else turned up (apart from Abbylad, LordHarding and Faster Mike!!!) it had to make do with racing itself around my boot

The Sportsman could be easier to find drive from Penrith to Keswick and at about 5 miles out start looking to your right. You will find a large and well lit pub high up just of the road to the right. The car cark is large and quiet. As I’ve said it’s a Jennings so the beer is good too.

As for a model car race I think we may need to classes as my car is only an inch long!

Right guys!!!!!! HI im Gav, I live in Carlisle and drive a Honda Civic Type R,a few of my mates have scoobies so ive been on a few of your runs as a passenger but seeing as there aint such a following of hondas in cumbria I was wondering if i could tag along with you guys on your raids across the border?!?!?!

Dont think im goin to turn up wanting to try race ya all, I just wanna come along for a good drive out in good company.

If none of you have any objetions of me tagging along then i shall turn up one day at your meets :-)

Lord Harding: I dont know if you can remember but when you went on the run from ponteland a couple of years ago i was the passenger in the immaculate RED turbo, you were with your son.

Cheers Gav.
