hello rusty
amazing how an off the cuff remark about a RAID ACROSS THE BORDER has grown so big, in 5 weeks im thinking about the sequel allready,
maybe there is a message in this that all scoobs should unite for a really BIG ONE in the north ?
not being a computer wizz kid i hope i can rely on you to get the pictures up as soon as you get home,

Thanks for a great day out, there were some great driving road's and some good secnery shot's as well.
We were the one's in the Black Catalunya, she seemed to keep up pritty well with the reast of the bunch as well.I was a bit worried in the morning as we noticed the road's were a bit wet and greasy,bu7t that didn't bother us at all.
Mark(red wrx) thanks for keeping up a good pace all day and on the right road's.Also to the Blue WRX in front of me i would like to thank him for introducing so many stone's and rock's to our front windscreen .
I would also like to say that i felt i bit left out from some of the fellow SCOT'S that were supposed to be coming down as well!!!!!!! But hey Diana and my-self had a great day out.
Sorry for not stopping and having some thing to eat but we did have a hour and a half drive home(95 mile).
I hope that we can make the next one as well.Looking forward to True Grip when it's published.

nice to see you folks up north, 120 miles 2hrs each way and a gentle bit of slip sliding round the forest roads. never heard as many quiet scoobs in my life, everybody down ere is competing for the loudest, boomiest most annoyinng system, ably demonstrated by my team mate (craft) in the head red motor.
who said that we were gonna go slow in grp 2?
lost rest of pack at ist fuel stop and then muddled on slowly hoping you would catch up, no chance and we waited ages for you.
still we had a great run, not much to overtake though.
hope to see some of you folk down in the next dales run soon

A big thanks to John for organising a great route. A really good variety of roads to cater for all tastes! Only thing that concerned me was that there was one little bump near Langholm that was missed from the highly extensive route notes!
Nice to meet all the northern southeners and the southern northener!

Just to echo whats been said before
BIG THANKS to John for all his hard work and organization. The day went off a treat with a great turn out, and some lovely motors
Rusty, I'd send you all my pics to post but they look just like yours, so i'll let you off
Well done to mark for leading the 3rd group whilst navigating on his own...and clearing the pheasants en-route

Many thanks for organising such a well attended event. Great sadness that I missed the "Raid"... great joy that I saw so many people. Fabulous range of Scoobs on Show !!
Steve (Sherwen), thanks for letting me look over your DBM, Lucy (my four year old who was hitting me at the time loved it) The lowered eibachs make mine look like a tractor...looks like this years x-mas present is settled then. I like the dials on the A-Pillar, I've never seen them before..NEAT. What's the blue thing with red LEDs on the dashboard; Radar, special speaker ??
Midlife..
PS Big hello to the group I was trailing, serious acceleration you boys had. I even tried the ultimate improvenment to performance..Nitrous-no, Dawes device-no.....Lemmy and Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" on the CD... yes, but even this failed. !!

Thanks to John for organising and planning the route. Enjoyed every mile.
Steve
PS Mid-life, the red LED on the dash, I think you mean my alarm sensor. Nothing too exciting

Dougie + Diane loved the Black Catalunya, what an awsome looking beast mine was the red/blue sport with my sons home made graqphics on the doors. Just to re-iterate what most folks have said many thanks to john Harding and his Missus and son for the hard work and a really enjoyable day out I've got to say this i've been in various owners clubs B4 and you scooby owners are some of the friendliest i've ever met again thanks for a great day out and to Jon & tia for all their work posting the pictures
