Moortown lights (Leeds) Sat AM
Don't know too much myself Ian (and Dave knows even less I think
) but if you have 320 bhp, I would get some serious suspension and brakes - then some driving lessons from Giles Panizzi - job sorted

Dave, I don't know how much power mines running - but IT IS RUNNING
where is yours at the moment - sorry - where are the boxes yours is in at the moment !! LOL That day at Well Lane is looming up m8 - your gonna be a busy boy. No more nights out for you , you'll have to be scooby building......

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

Its going to be fun when I see you on track...
Ian... What does the ppp give you??
in what way do you want it faster?

My main issue with the STi is the Turbo lag.
Pulling out of junctions at the moment is a complete joke!
If I don't remember to slip the clutch and get the revs at approx 4,000 rpm it chuggs like a go-kart from a standing start.
I hear (and we'll see tonight) that the PPP goes along way towards clearing this but anything else I can do to improve the problem is high on my list.
The other side is just making more of the sound the STi can generate. I think I remember reading something about replacing the dump valve that makes it sound really cool but I might be wrong.
No doubt I'll pick your brain next time we tie up. I just have to make sure I don't drink too much and forget it all again

Just heard from KT Greens that one of my bolts it stuck in the turbo so I may not get the car back tonight.
For one more day I can wait, I'd rather have it right that rushed - trust me for opening my gob too soon!

Dave, the PPP gives just over 300bhp, 0-60 of 4.6 seconds, way more torque, especially in higher gears. It lops over 3 seconds off the 60-80 time in 6th which will make overtaking on the M1 a tad easier on the gear changes. Fits the bill for my driving day.
We are all style victims and power hungry when it comes to our Scoobs.
Where do I live? Well, a very short walk from Moortown Corner or a long stagger from the Deer Park / Flying P.
My office is in Leeds but I am out and about most days clocking up around 25K a year in the Scoob. Everywhere from Southampton to Glasgow and points between in a typical month. Gives me a chance to play with the toy.

nice one.. ken if you fancy meeting for a pint.. then drop me a mail.. I understand that you wont say... hopefully these two would vouch for me as they have met me...
I meant that if you want more power then you shouldnt have bothered with the ppp...
get a 3" exhaust... Air Filter... Gems, Pectel, Motech, Ecutek... Etc.. Fmic, Injectors, Turbo... etc...you must be not far from 400...
but suspension, brakes and big ***** are quicker..

Got a K&N panel from my old Prodrived MY00 complete with cleaner and oil, free to anyone that wants it, only did about 5K with it in. I'll stick with the paper filter.
I need the upgrade but I need the warranty as well - too many company miles to take the risk with 3rd party mods.
A pint (or two, or three) sounds a good idea to me.
