I se that the point really is the lack of tough sentencing of scum like this.
If you use a firearms even carry one then you get 15 years to serve not 8 then parole
Shooting, stabbing someone should be classed as attempted muder and carry a heavy penalty
these scum are not mentally defective, this is not a medical condition this is down to drugs or not wanting to work hard to get something when you cna steal it from a defenceless person.
More police on the streets more police full stop

Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime is just a empty feel good phrase - if we hastle the government enough then maybe something will happen. The law currentl favours the criminal about time this changed as well!

My first reaction was that a number of us should get together and try and track down the scum organising and carrying out these car jackings..
then reality check... they use guns in street situations and will be up for some sh1te (not enough IMHO but sh1te no less) from Police if caught as it is unlikely to be a first offence...
so you waltzing in there like Jon Waine/Jacky Chan with a gun that you used for 'Sport', or Kartate moves done in a dojo is really going to help.. this is the real world... they eat this stuff for breakfast..
the shot in the leg was not accidently in the leg... it was a delibarate brick wall to the owners attempts at keeping his car, but not a deliberate brick wall to his life (thank god), which too me says they were no amatures or messing around.
This is the real world Claduious.. the head line would read
"10 wannabe heros killed"
