ok mate. how long is the wait for the HKS one.
otherwise what else would be good to put on there. The rest of the system is Super Drager up to the d/pipe which is still standard.
I only thought HKS coz thats what the rest is, but what would you suggest that would do the job just as good if not better ?
cheers

+ fitting i presume.
sounds fine really.
I did see on the SE Parts website they sell HKS stuff and will do the pipe for 158 inc VAT. only thing is i dont know FA about if they do different types and I dont wanna get the wrong one. If I could get that would this be fine to fit !?!
cheers mate

That price is for the HKS closed Mouth one. I dont really like fitting front pipes i havent supplied due to if they are wrong (Sometimes they send new age ones!) or if the facing is not straight, which can happen. Hence you can start the car up after fitting and its blowing!!! Which then means i will have to take the thing off, put your old one back while you get a replacement. And i will charge you twice!
I will charge you £50.00 for fitting if i supply. Its a 2 hour job if all goes well. Of course, i can get cheaper Pipes, but they dont work as well. Best thing to due, as its you, buy the front pipe and give me the part number and i will then fit. Although i would also like to see the pipe first also.

ok so an open neck one is the prefereable one to go for then ?!
and the Trust one would come into this category as well would it ? If that works fine with the exhaust i currently have then ill be happy to have that one.
I would prefer the one you suggest performs best at the end of the day tho mate.

Trust is an Open Mouth and it does perform the best. Trust me, i have it on mine! Its also very well made and comes with a life long warranty to faliure. So if the welds break over a period of 300000 years it will be changed free!!!!!
Just confirm and i will get you one and fit it next week for you.

when you say these exhausts perform the 'best' wha do you mean? Best in terms of most horse power? torque?
I'm looking for a new downpipe myself (which I'll buy one day) and just wondered what would be best to go for with regards to torque and throttle response.
What's the difference between a normal down-pipe and a twin-dump like the power engineering ones?

There was no reference meant to you mark at all. Sorry if it sounded that way, but as i said to you before fitting yours, i know what happens in these cases. And it did! Ill sort yours out Monday in regards to other problem.
Rybeck. As arranged on phone ill see you Friday. We will sort out rest on Monday
In reagrds to when i say "Best" i mean in Torque and Throttle responce yes. You want the slightest touch on the throttle to make your car go and torque to make it go. There are many front pipes out there and there is only a marginal difference in them all, but i look for build quality as well as top nothch figues, then pass this info to members/customers. So, when you are looking i will let you know what i have found!
Reading this again mark, i do appologise if you felt that way. It was not meant, honestly

Yeh, Ouch!
Grab what you can steve. Intercooler, Spoiler, Exhaust etc etc. Im sure some junkie will snap your hand off!
Put a thread on for sale perhaps?
Meet place. Myself and Tiny, Andy? Graham? at Shaw Farm at lets say 7.30am. Then onto the Esso garage at Lakeside @ 8.00am. Then we are Picking/Meeting Ray at his house at 8.30am then onto TDI for 9am.
Hows that sound?
