Where is the Blackhorse? I know brentwood fairly well, so a ruff idea will be fine to get me there.

Who do I look for? If I wander round saying 'Do I owe you thirty notes?' to everyone with a scooby it's gonna cost me a bit!!

The Black Horse is on the Ongar Road, just turn up and you will notice Dal as he will be the one with 2 pints (and this is the one to pay?), unless he is driving then it will only be 1.

Ok deposit now paid.
While i was there i took the opportunity to ask a few questions and see there new equipment.
Although as i entered the place it was, how can i say, a little different as to when i last went there! Not TDI`s fault, but there was so much building work going on and so much crap on the road you can imagine what i thought! (10 clean scoobs coming here?)
Anyway, Nathan showed me the new rolling road that can take 250bhp PER ROLLER (I wished!) and a new air machine capable of generating air to 60mph. For those wanting to know, an air machine will be placed in front of your car to cool it while on the rollers and some air-machines only generate 40 mph.
Your car will recieve 3 power runs to get an average and YES you will receive a print out graph showing your power curve, Torque and BHP
TDI was quick to point out though that the bonnets of the cars will NOT be lifted as to time which i aggree with. (3 cars on, 3rd with a problem, 6 of us left waiting )
They will point out though if a car is having problems on the rollers and will suggest to the owner what that problem may be, but they will not waste time looking or to mend. Thats ok though as i will be there too
We will have to be there though at 9.00am which means an early meet for us all.
TDI is just off the A13 so perhaps a meet at Lakeside at say 8.15?
Of course, those down here will meet before.
Anyway, it looks good for a days run, although i must say do the following:
CHECK TYRE PRESSURES
CHECK ALL LEVELS
AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH FUEL!
I have mentioned to them also that you Paul_s will ring them with your payment as to include you on the day.

Bonnets on Scoobs have to be shut to feed the air through the scoop to the i.c. Those flash gits with f.m.i.c. - it does'nt matter either way!
As a matter of interest, the run is usually done in 4th gear and your car will be doing around 130 mph on the rollers (may not make red line in 5th - 157mph on rollers a bit hairy?)

It wouldnt surprise me mark if you had the best result of the day! Warm, cold hot anything! Ive done a few RB5`s and have seen some bloody good results! They respond excellently!
