MarkO
Im new to this scoobynet and I've looked through a lot of threads but rarely post and two things come up, Most of the computer nerds rip into Super Si, yeah most people are right his spelling is **** and he asks the odd daft question but the poor kid gets untold stick, he may not be the brightest in your(scoobynetters) eyes but he trys to get along and does nothing to offend, whereas your name seems to be ultimately associated to ripping into all and sundry and dismissing untold threads constantly, so the meeting of poor old si and dimissive MarkO was always going to end in tears.
You need to chill out dude and let people (not just super si) have their stories and opinions without you rubishing them within minutes of posting and detracting from the original point, which someone thought had reasonable credence.
Just my opinion from afar, maybe youve had a bad couple of weeks and this is your release, no bad feelings eh

Red B*astard, welcome aboard. Unfortunately MarkO has been like this since I became a member and it isn't a two week temporary deal. Yes, his posts are all over these forums and most of them are condescending, antagonistic and petty.
I just bite my tongue when I don't agree with him. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I just hope one day MarkO becomes gracious enough to appreciate we all don't live in his flawless, immaculate world bubble.
Peace in the community, people.

I like them both, just the way they are.
Sometimes I think Si is doing some of the things he does as a wind up, and I laugh. Sometimes I think MarkO is being devils advocate on purpose, and I laugh.
Sometimes MarkO has a valid point that I agree with but I darent post - I usually rely on him to bring some reality into some of the more "surrealy" posts , and I go actively looking for his posts - cos they make me laugh
Theres isnt enough laughing on Scoobynet, and there is too much taking out of context and mis-interpretaion. Remember when you read the text that thats all it is!! There is none of the feeling from when it was typed - and the typee's (!) would ALSO sometimes do well to remember that!
But then again..it would be boring if we all got along

Being going out now 18months, she gave up last year aftering 14years of doing it.
She was ranked 8th last July her friend won at Manchester this year. She was better if only she'd stuck it out. But after so many years she didnt enjoy it.
Put it this way , she can get Parallel to the wall n go Beyond the splits and shes got big and blonde which is cracking hehehe

Okay, a couple of things here. Firstly, I like winding Si up, because it's easy, and he usually takes it in the manner it's intended (see the "Cya hun" response earlier). I have also helped Si on a few occasions, but on a number of occasions when I have helped (or tried to help) him, some tongue-in-cheek humour whilst doing so has led to all manner of abuse. Hence I now wind him up wherever possible.
In particular, though, I don't think it's too much to ask that when somebody asks questions (and in particular, as many as Si asks) that he at least attempts to craft the posts in readable and literate English. Do you?
As for Jodsters comments, well excuse me for speaking. My opinions are exactly what they are - opinions. If you don't like 'em, stuff it. I don't beat around the bush, I speak my mind. A lot of people on here spout opinions or statements with no basis and no thought behind them - so if I question them, and show this, so what?
In a lot of cases, I've spoken my mind and had all sorts of abuse thrown back, but hell, I'll play devil's advocate anytime. Despite that fact others have often mailed me offlist with supportive comments, mentioning that they agreed but didn't want to state it publicly for fear of retaliation. The Nick Wild threads (and my response) were a classic example - I had 15 mails of support off-BBS (which implies that many people thought the same but couldn't be bothered to respond).
I get sick and tired of the sycophantic, sheeplike idiocy that goes on on this board sometimes, and so occasionally I like to have a little fun and provoke a reaction. Most people say that they enjoy the discussions that ensue. I've been on and off Scoobynet for nearly 5 years now, and can still remember it when there were no muppets and the discussions were more relaxed and less moderated. But the one thing that's remained constant has been the level of fun.
Raze's post says it all really. Thanks for the kind words, mate.

Tell you what Jodster, when I have lunch with Mark tomorrow, I'll take my ruler and rap him over the knuckles shall I?
