Hi Marky
Yes I think its a lot cheaper on clutches and the rest of the transmission to be careful on the getaway bit. Not difficult to catch up as a rule anyway. I think you will love the decat etc. Look forward to hearing it is all finished. It never seems to stop does it.

hi marky yea i used a borg and beck cluch for a uk subaru turbo, it was £91 all in, it was a complete clutch, ive covered over 10-k on it with no issues, one thing i needed to replace the fly wheel as our,s is super light weight, and was totally knackered, also found a supplier for the rear vented disc,s also they were slotted approx £180 for the pair, they were, DBA-disks from www.japinnovationd.co.uk ive also got there no, can collect them for you if you cant locate, ok also fitted a P-1 TMIC the straight one, also moded it inc the y section what a difference, totally awsome in looks but most of all performancs, the best mod next to 4 pots , you can drive it too see for your self. will post pics soon mark

Hi all
Just read your post about STI V1 Ltd.
I use to own number 079/100 May 94. Black 4 door with the huge (pram handle) spoiler.
Sold it to my mate (regret it now!) especially as it came 5th at xtreme scoobies recent R&R day.

Hi Stattz,
Welcome to the thread
Could you ask your mate to send me some pictures if he still has the car (including a plaque picture) along with the current car spec? It would be much appreciated. I'll send you a mail
Sorry folks, havent been able to spend time updating the site due to some excessively long hours at work - I'll try catch up on the next week or two Sorry to those waiting.....bear with me, but being awake for long stunts over a prolonged period, takes its toll.

Just to let you know my Impreza just arrived from Japan. It's a black 1994 WRX STi, it is numer 70 of 200 and seems to be standard apart from a turbo tomer. Its covered 80k's and hopefully I will have some pics of it once I get my PC sorted. It will probably be up for sale soon due to a new business venture but I'll have another in the future hopefully !

Some more updates for you. The site now looks like its sponsored by ‘Autotrader’. I’ve contacted all the owners/companies to get information, so it’ll probably come in small doses.
*** The Original STI Register ***
I’ve changed around some of the info to accommodate the 56K user, removed some similar pictures and the like. Just need to tidy it up, but figured that the last change was back in August so an update was well overdue.
My engine predicament is ongoing – going for the HPI rebuild using original Subaru parts – new crank, rods, pistons, rebuilt head etc. so its all good stuff. Getting a new clutch at the same time. On the preventive side, I’ve taken some recent advice/communication with Les and bought myself a Dawes manual boost controller, Dawes FCD, Dawes AFR meter and last but not least, a Knocklink and lambda sensor. Just deciding if I should I also get some more gauges – oil temp, battery, etc. – my bank manager was last heard saying he’d won the pools. Girlfriend however is packing my things in a suitcase as I type.
Anyway, onward and upward!!
Take care folks,
Marky-San

Hi Guys,
Need some help on info about our ECU's. Cant look at mine as its currently being gutted in API Engines in Lemington Spa - please feel free to go ave a look if your at all local
The info I need is what is the code on your ECU's? Reason I ask is Im trying to get a Scooby ECU upgrade from www.fatsport.com in Australia as no one over here seems to answers emails anymore about them.
This is a quote from Alex 'you have a very early Sti you should
have a 2C ecu type with external ROM chip soldered directly into the board. If this is the case it is an absoloute *itch to desolder (read impossible to remove without destroying the ROM)... I would recommend getting hold of a second hand unit from someone like Grade A (http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/) ecu codes you want are one of V7, 7D, 6D, 7K all are slightly later ecu's with the IC socket. Z4, Z5 are also suitable but would require a socket soldered'.
Helpo mucho appreciatedo as usualo!

I sent a post some time ago Marky which was asking the for the two big code letters on your ECU, can't remember the letters for sure, but it may have been SA. The ECU has got pink writing on it but I cannot find where I wrote the code down. David Wallis suggested the series 2 map, as long as I had a Knocklink and AFR indicator when I was talking to him about it. Mine is still original though.
