yes and no......
There is a road at the back of the services (the mysterious J7, you'll find on maps it jumps from J6 to J8 ) but it only links across the bridge and to the other services, apart from access to some fields.

Mornin' chaps!
Thanks for the great run last night - a tad scary in places but when I got back to my rightful position at the end of the convoy, me and my car sighed with relief- wish I had 4x4. Really enjoyed the second half.
Nice to meet Stu, now to plan a Sunday morn. drive out to Wales.......

hey Jim,
Pace is fine ( eek! ) as long as I'm not tripping anyone else up. The thing that got me yesterday was that the roads were pretty slidy and greasy in places.
I have absolutely no idea where we were yesterday but I really enjoyed the second half of the run - perhaps I was a little more confident in the car and myself at that stage.
anyhoo, catch you there next week no doubt. if similar conditions, i'll probably passenger with ian or colin.
cheers.

Has anyone got (or can lay their hands on?) those PMR radio thingies? Might be handy for keeping the pace at a comfortable level for all?
I think I can borrow a pair for thurs.

I can but they're 200+ mile away in London, might actually buy a set as the Motorola ones my mate and I use when snowboarding are v.good and not that expensive really.

I'm up for Andrew's suggestion of going over to the fishermans for a chuckle at Mellow and adge, but if the majority are up for a blast then fine, I ain't bothered cause I'm off work till saturday.
