My best way will be either south Circular A205 or the m25 from junction's 10-8 depending on where I choose to join it.

 

Are you coming south of the M25 then? If not you can join us at Lakeside sevices.

 

Yeah I live near the end of the A316/start of M3. For me to get to Lakeside in the morning will mean going clockwise on m25 and adding a fair few miles or go thru the Dartford Tunnel meet you guys, as much as I would love to however I wont coz
1 Im just to lazy to get up earlier than I have to
2 too much go go juice needed.

does anyone want me to bring along my jerry can, think it holds about 25/35 litres, not sure, never used it. bought it in the last fuel crisis

the bridge will be JAMMO, i go past it every morning, luckily we will be getting on at the last entry.

can i just stress that wot ever way u come to the services, do not use the M25!!! it aint worth the risk!!!

 

The Shell garage is a good 15min drive each way guys just to let you know,i did Brands last week and had to make the trip.Turn right out of the track down to roundabout turn right (3 exit i think) and it's about 5 miles down on the right.

Make it 6 cameras, I'm brining a camera and a body to hold it for me whilst driving, also I am in negotion for a digital camcorder, the only thing is apparently it has a 15 min max record time, so if anyone has a lap top with a video editing programe and a burner on it we can film and burn straight to disc. But this would have to be a team effort.

I know that Dal supplies the nescafe on these events !!, but is there a cafe/diner at the circuit where we can get some munchies or is it mouldy old sandwiches again!!!

Yes there is a cafe, but its a little walk from the pits. What about in-between races? Im sure coffee will go down a treat mid-morning, exp. if its raining

I'm hoping to come along as a sepctator with my other half. How much will this cost ?

I can bring along a laptop to dump the info on but It doesn't have a burner on it. Oh and its a PowerBook with firewire onboard it thats helps or makes things worse.

To those going to Brands who are meeting at Lakeside,

I was wondering whether it may be worth meeting a bit earlier as I gather the traffic on the bridge is half way across by 7.15. Was thinking about meet 6.30 - 6.45 to leave 6.45 - 7. If every body agrees please post so we can get numbers and not leave anyone behind.

i 2nd this, we dont wana miss the breifing. or the whole day is a waste.

dont 4 get we have a little trek after the bridge and past the A2 which is usually jammed up and affecting the m25.

I will be there at 6.30 if everyone else agrees.

its not quite sorted yet, well its only been 9 months ! Its chucking out loads of smoke at the moment which I;m having trouble diagnosing. I think the hoses to the MAP sensor are connected wrongly and its dumpiong tons of fuel inot the motor and chukcing out loads of unburnt fuel.

Still got to sort out the brakes and suspension and maybe a cage. Some tweaks will be needed to the engine before I take it on track which is likely to be a few months yet.

thats wot my borthers fiesta RST is doing, he's running pectel on a zetec engine, when he revs it it does as i mentioned above, covers the fence in black ****.

running just a bit rich still 350+ bhp requires a bit of fuel

Got the tyres fitted to the rims and balanced for the price of 4 pints

They filled the tyres with Nitrogen 30psi in the Avon and 32 in the Bridgestones.
