I can't believe no-one's mentioned Red Bull (or V) and vodka !!

An excellent drink after a hard days toil, but I suppose you wouldn't want to drink them all night!

For a longer session my beer of choice would be Theakstons Best Bitter (only tourists drink Old Peculiar! )

Mmmmm getting thirsty now

Aperitif: Duval Leroy Rosée de saignée (that's champagne for all the non French people here )

Wines: too many to list

Digestive: Ragnaud Sabourin XO (the smoothest, honiest, woodiest and just plain simply best IMHO Cognac)

Nights out: JDcoke, Absolut screwdriver, GT, or when I'm with a bunch of chicks a shaker or two of "Sex on the Beach", a SoCo ginger twice a year

Double Jack Daniels & Coke.
Just reminds me of how little whisky you get when you order one in the UK! Last time I went there (June) I had to ask for a double, looked at the few drops more I got and ended up drinking triple whiskies!

Let's say I drink quadruple JDcoke then

Personally, I can't stand Jack Daniels.

I'd rather have a Glenfiddich or something similar (MHO).

Opposite of thread but, my dad brought some rum back from a caribbean cruise and it actually says on the bottle in big letters
DO NOT DRINK NEAR NAKED FLAME

It is bloody strong and put me off having rum as chasers as that all i think about when someone mentions rum.

steven

ps its 160% proof

Jack is only really for mixing, there are far better US whiskeys & bourbons available ... in fact, just about all of them are better. IMO the best easily available bourbons under £20 are Rebel Yell, Maker's Mark and Wild Turkey (8 year / 110 proof).

Nat21's right tho', Canadian rye isn't hard to drink
