Bit confused now m8 as surely the 702 is only a 2 channel amp as per "KIC-KIX702
KIX702 2 x 70 watts bass & treble boost 18db hi-low pass X-over" Looking at the other kicker amps the no signifies the No. of Watt base & No. of channels, ie 702 = 2x70 watts? I kud b rong but wood yer 4 channel un not be a --4 model of sum form then?
I'm quite possibly interested thou m8 although i wasn't guna bother amping the rear speakers so wasn't seeking so many channels But u never no Did u have any trubble with flat battery with so much power draining goodies?
If u kud confirm those queries then & i shall give u a definate yeah or neigh
Si
(MODS feel 3 2 move this thread to the ICE forumlol)

think they must be called 702 and 704 then, either way ones 2 channel and ones 4
you must amp all speakers and sub, not just for power, but also for clarity and quality. does make big difference, talking to bloke who has fitted £2000 systems in every car i've had
most important part though is your wiring, it's alright putting all these fancy speakers and stuff in though, but leaving 'bell wire' in for speaker wires, is like drinking a fine expensive wine from tupperware beakers, if u see what i'm saying

Cheers m8 i'm with ya, & i was just guna amp the rear speakers from the head unit since they dont make any real improvement to the soundstage (check out who's bin reading the ICE section) but was possibly looking for a 4 channel amp for front speakers & any potential sub
Either way i wood b in need of meaty wiring etc for when i'm getting sum1 else 2 fit it, feeling too scared 2 risk it meself, so wood probably want that also if poss?££?
So 2 summarise i'm almost certainly interested in the 4 channel amp & possibly the sub + wiring etc.
Hoping head unit etc will be in stock next week from MCS which is actually based in Leicester so all going well i will be in area next Sat, followed by rushing over 2 pilot in earlsdon 2 fit the buggers!
Si (the 1 u r speaking 2 who only currently has the original shyte so a muppet playing a harmonica is guna sound better)

I remember the good old days when you openned a thread about a subject and 90% of the following replies related to the subject of the original thread. Since Si has been around we always seem to stray off track :P.
So for all those looking for the latest meet info I must appologise, but it does show that we are a friendly bunch so if there are any newbies to the Cov area meet whom are a bit unsure, come along you dont have to stay long if you dont want to. You might get a pic of your car on Scoobynet as we usually have a digi camera floating about.
