P.S. After the long bit from Stafford how many roundabouts till I get there ?

 

From the A34 Roundabout by the M6 turnoff for Junction 14 there are two more roundabouts on the A34.

Go ACROSS both rounabouts (first one is left to industrial estate and right to lichfield and rugely) the second roundabout has a Shell station on the roundabout which sells optimax and the pub is about half a mile on your left just after a railway bridge. The is a big car park round the back.

CW from the shell station I met you and chelle at that morning is the one in my directions. Head towards Trentham down the A34 and its half a mile from the Shell station.

 

Rich, Ian, I can meet you near Stafford, just say where you want to meet

Go to the barley mow and when you get to the little island turn left.... keep going down that road until you get to a junction turn left and the chetwyn arms is on the right... you can't miss it..

It rings a bell that the Walton is family friendly. Certainly a big family eating area and I'd swear blind there's a play area of somesort.
