Its hot and humid here, no signs of any stormy looking clouds though (Medway)

Don't forget to unplug your electrical bits, inc aerials if your getting a storm your way

Absolutley p1ss3d it down from 3 - 5 in leeds... floods everywhere traffic chaos... floods in the building at work... and a backup aircon unit failed in the comms room setting off the flood alarm... just when I wanted to go home.

I was about to say all was well here, but a MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE thuder clap has just knocked something over downstairs in the kitchen - about to investigate in a minute.

The lightning was so blue then, that the room just lit up completely.

dharbige - it is not a fault at Pipex, it is the local exchange being spiked. All my system is protected by anti surge, so should be OK

Derby at the moment...

It is still raining just slowed right down, I thoutght it had stopped but was wrong.

No mega storm though like you say BOB.T just mainly rain with the off clap and lightening in the distance, thought we were going to get it big time but didn;t materialise.

More rain than I have seen for a while though.. the drain pipe on the building opposite exits halfway up the building onto a sloping roof and it was coming out full bore... fountain off the side of the build... class.. makes a change for the blinds to be open in this office, usually muppet moan about light on there screens...

A few spots in Guildford at lunch time. Rode the bike home in a panic and returned in the Scoob. Since then....nothing....just been out for a 12mile mountain bike ride, still nothing.

I need some beers to cool off

A fair bit of thunder and a small monsoon in Kent at about 2am this morning. Unfortunately, though, despite still drizzling today, it's just increased the humidity - but the temp's still unbearable (even at 5:30am).

Leeds was unbelievable. I live around 6 miles from the city centre, and it took 1 1/4 hours to get home. Inner ring road flooded... Madness!
